How to unlock the MW3 - Gearhead achievement in Call of Duty - Definitive Guide

There are a total of 121 supply boxes you will need to get among the 6 open combat missions. You will also want to grab plate carrier upgrades and armaments to also grab these:

Completed the game 121/121
No achievement, stared new game did cargo finished it,guess what no achievement...last achievement I need
Now i can't because stupid game is glitched and won't give.me the pop up for the achievement

Great guide but it looks like the time stamps on Gora Dam aren’t correct. I needed the silenced striker as my last weapon and it’s at 1:35 not 1:13. Not sure if any others are incorrect as I just grabbed that one and quit out.

I did a new game, completed the first Combat mission again with all the collectibles, and nothing. No achievement. I then deleted my console storage data but I don't think that made a difference at all. Then I followed a guide for the collectibles on the second combat mission, and when I found the last the achievement popped. Hope this helps.

A note for folks looking for what they’re missing:
Find a Change Loadout cache in a level and when you view Primary or Secondary weapons, the far right of the list will show you the greyed out weapons you don’t have. You can then match up what you do and don’t have with Maka’s guide.

If you press start you can see the number of weapons and items you have discovered.
You can quit to the menu once you have all of them, no need to do a checkpoint, tested this just now on Crash site.

Anyone having issues with this achievement unlocking? I’ve collected ever weapon, field upgrade, plate carrier upgrades and armaments on each of the missions and it hasn’t unlocked.

EDIT - Followed what EdenWeekes86 suggested and it worked. Thanks.

Yes, i had to start new game, than on the first combat mission precious cargo when i collected everything it unlocked.

Gora Dam is wrong and missing like 5 of the items this page has a complete list. Popped immediately after I opened the last box (for me on the Dam)
