How to unlock the MW3 - Seeing Red achievement in Call of Duty - Definitive Guide

Very easy right now with a friend.

Start the match, run to zone III and get killed. Now just wait for your friend to complete any 5 contracts on zone I and you'll unlock the achievement. Change roles next match.

Use a different operator without any gear, so you don't lose anything for dying in a match!

Be quick, this will most likely be patched soon!

Worked exactly as you said SiegfriedX! I completed this with 2 randoms, after I died in the red zone they thankfully continued on and did 5 contracts! I've also thrown together my findings in a YouTube video: https://youtu.be/AjHLWswD2Dc - feel free to tag it onto your text guide (if you wish).

@Came Too Fast not sure what happened, but it does work. The game has been glitchy for a lot of people (myself included) regarding achievements. Doing it again might make it work.

Thanks for sharing! Unlocked as described. If you don't want to get killed you can also just camp underneath one of the bridges leading into the zone and the zombies shouldn't be able to get to you.

I got super lucky with this because i was doing a high threat bounty contract and the game glitched which made the mangler die for no reason without me even shooting him and it counted as completing the contract

Still working as of 2024/03/03.

We just tested and you do not even have to be downed in the Zone 3, you just have to physically be there while someone completes contracts in other zones :)

Completed with randoms, just keep joining and quitting games until you get 2 team mates, or what I did was spawn in and look for a team of 3 on the map and run to them, and request to join their squad

Still works, did it with randoms. Hid in a tower the entire time, pretty sure I found a easter egg regarding some purple symbols while climbing to safety lol

I could imagine this will be very difficult to get legit for those who are just checking the cheevo out so get on it now

It works. Did it last night with a friend. Once in the red zone, stay in the red zone until all 5 contracts are completed. Just to add: you can spawn in with any gear equipped and you do not need to be killed for this to work. You can stay undetected by zombies in the High Threat Zone by swimming and staying under a bridge (occasionally a zombie or two might wonder down, but you should be okay) or you can travel to the SW of Old Town in the red zone, there is a boat dock that is under ground and zombies do not spawn in making it really easy to stay alive. *Cheese* This currently can be cheesed with the help of a friend. Simply go to the high threat zone and fully die, then let your friend complete 5 contracts in a low threat zone..... congrats on the new achievement. This will be patched soon, so fallow the video ASAP. I will post a normal method after the patch.

Honestly not sure what to tell you guys. This is still working, however as I stated in the video you do need a friend to help you out. If you watch the video & do exactly as shown you should have no trouble unlocking the achievement.
