Overview
This can be done without buying any additional games if you play SonSon.
Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10+ hours, although most are idle
Preparing for the achievement
-First you need to download the Invincibility "DLC" which is free.
-From the Main area with the Arcade Cabinets press the
Start button and then navigate to Store, this will prompt you to open up the Microsoft Store.
-When I did this Invincibility was the first thing in the store. So press A and initiate the download (GET) for that. It is FREE. It's called Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium: Invincibility and it shouldn't take long at all to download.
-Now navigate back to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and back to the arcade cabinets where you will select the game SonSon
-From here go to Game Settings and down at the bottom if you keep scrolling there should be the option for "Invincibility" here - if it's not there I would recommend restarting the game or your Xbox. Mine was there immediately but some people report a delay.
-Turn on Invincibility in the Game Settings, make sure to save when you close out.
Getting the achievement
-Now start the game. Double check your settings if you want to make sure you set Invincibility ON.
-You may need to Press R-stick down to "insert a coin" before you are allowed to start the game with the A button
-Once you start the game the camera will Zoom in a little bit further into the Arcade cabinet, and pretty soon you will see "Good Luck!" and your character will start moving across the screen
-At this point you can just leave a wired controller plugged in and walk away. I had to prop my RS up against something otherwise my the game went idle. I am not sure if you will have the same issue.
-Make sure that your Xbox energy settings are not set to turn the Xbox off after going idle, or you will be disappointed when you come back!
-Consider putting a USB powered fan on your Xbox to help keep it cool. Do this in short bursts maybe or while you sleep.
-After each session I saved the game with Start button and then would Load back in when I wanted to leave it going again.
Tracking your progress in this achievement
-Once you have an hour of play time you can start to track the progress by going to the main section with all of the cabinets and then hitting the Start button and then checking Triumphs, Newbie and Serious Gamer will show how many hours out of 10 or 100 you have completed.
Do this 10 more times to get the Serious Gamer achievement:
