How to unlock the Cars are everything achievement in Car Mechanic Simulator - Definitive Guide
**This achievement is extremely grindy. I have been grinding at it for hours and still don't have the achievement for 375 car fixes**
I have not yet completed this and I expect this to take me quite some time to get. (Hopefully I don't give up on it) These are tips on the quickest jobs to do, which will progress you the fastest.
Bring up your pie menu when not pointed at anything and pick the green icon for the jobs.
If you're grinding this achievement, you want to look for ones that say either the car is "Loud", the gears are slipping/grinding or needs to be painted. Don't confuse the gearbox issues with "Running gear" issues. I believe that's referring to stuff outside the gearbox that might take longer to troubleshoot. Note that you need a level 3 garage (Attainable at level 30) for the paint jobs.
For the loud car jobs, obviously you're looking for exhaust issues. Look at the exhaust manifold first under the hood as you can't get at it from under the car. Note that some cars have the front exhaust pipe and manifold bolted together, so peek at the pipe first before you put the car up and get under it. You can easily see the bad parts as they'll be covered in rust, but use the examine icon if there's any question. Or, just remove it and check it in your inventory. Most exhaust parts, aside from some manifolds that require a turbo or a cover to be removed first, come straight off. As mentioned, some front pipes also require the removal of the turbo or manifold first. So they're mostly easy to get to. Where you might lose a little time, is searching the store for the correct piece to buy.
For the gearbox issues, you must first remove the starter. Some starters can be removed from the engine bay only, and others from under the car. I noticed that the bigger engines tend to have the starters that come off under the car. If you're not sure, do a quick look under the hood before you put the car up. Then you need to remove any drive shafts. Most will have the long drive shaft from front to back, some may also have a transfer case and a front drive shaft attached to the transfer case. Front wheel drive cars need the removal of the front wheels, axels, then the front drive shaft. I find once you've done this a few times, it becomes pretty quick and easy. There are tools you can purchase with your points that speed up removal of parts greatly speeding this process up. Once those are removed, you have 5 parts that may need replacement to complete the job. The gearbox, then 4 parts in the clutch pack right under it. Gearbox takes a bit more time to get at the parts, but much easier to purchase replacements in the store. I find it balances out when it comes to completion time.
When in your job list, hit Y on any of the jobs that you are not interested in for progress on a few other achievements if you like. Jobs come in often, so if there are no good ones, work on another project for a couple mins and recheck the list.
Once you hit level 30 and gain access to the paint bay, this is by far the easiest job to complete. Put a car in the bay, select the tool at the back of the bay, hit LB to set the factory color, then press A to confirm, all done. I don't mind seeing this as an additional job on the above jobs as it's so quick to complete. I find it's pretty rare to get jobs that only require a paint, but from time to time they do show up.

Finally unlocked this today. Just thought I’d expand on the previous comment with some random thoughts.
The game seemed to go through spells where I’d get nothing but rubbish jobs – 6 or even 7 different systems that needed addressing and could take 20-30 mins to diagnose and fix… I did enough of that during the story jobs!
In addition to the job types listed, I sometimes picked up brake jobs. I didn’t bother troubleshooting them – I’d just replace everything (money quickly becomes a non-issue). Once you get the process down, they don’t take too long. You can even “park” a brake job on Lifter C and leave it there for those times the jobs dry up.
I didn’t like the replace body parts jobs simply because I had to think too much. There were some that only have 2 or 3 parts to replace so it’s worth taking them and checking – if there are too many just finish the job as incomplete (there is no penalty for this, aside from any money you’ve already spent buying/repairing).
Once you’re done with the story mode, build up an inventory of regularly-used parts. I would buy the transmission parts (clutch) and most of the regular exhaust sections in batches of 10. For the other parts, consider 5-10 each time you have to buy something. If you stick to the same jobs, you’ll end up replacing the same parts most of the time. This will save time as you won’t have to go to the store for every job.
It's easy to fill up your inventory, so don't forget to sell damaged parts and put cases into the warehouse to free up space. Don't go overboard purchasing too many spare parts.
Good luck! The grind is real.

Just a note to say you only get jobs come in in normal mode and not sandbox mode. I've been hitting the exhaust and gear box jobs too.
