Carmageddon: Max Damage

Upgrade tokens are found throughout the game world, looking like small silver discs. However, the way they spawn works differently to most games in that they only seem to appear when you need them. So the chances of finding them are much higher if you've already spent the ones you have and are driving a car that needs upgrading. There are a total of 15 slots but you can only upgrade 12 times per car. You can skip upgrades and it will count them all, e.g if you are at level 1 and buy the level 4 upgrade, it will count as 4 parts.

Upgrade levels unlock as you progress, the earliest you can access all the level 4 upgrades being chapter 9. I found loads of tokens in the Classic Carma event of chapter 8, Lap My Lighthouse, when driving the Crazor, especially around the beach and village area.
