How to unlock the Got the Point achievement in Carmageddon: Max Damage - Definitive Guide

This is pretty quick and easy providing you've unlocked a car that has spikes on the front of it.

The "They Don't Like It Up 'Em" Mission is for impaling 35 peds, so what I did was go to main menu...

* Choose Freeplay
* Choose Stadium Approach (can be done anywhere, but this one has loads of peds in and around the stadium)
* Choose Ped Chase (probably doesn't matter which type you pick here. I chose unlimited points and game length).
* Press cn_X to change car to something with spikes on the front. (I chose Degoryun)
* Click Start.
* Drive inside the stadium and around the front to skewer a ton of peds. When the amount of peds gets scarce, just press cn_start -> RESTART EVENT and it'll start with loads more peds for you.

This has tracking, so you can snap achievements to see your progress, or use the xbox app. It shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes.

To complete this mission, you to impale 35 Peds. You can check your progress towards this, in either the Criminal Record or Missions tabs.

This can be somewhat challenging depending on the car you use as by the end of my career, I only had 14. The key is to have a car with some sort of spikes in the front that will cut. The first level you play, the stadium has a lot of people in it. In freeplay you can just pick Ped Chase, points unlimited and go inside there with "Degoryun" (looks like the back to the future Delorean) during Ped chase and drive into Peds until it pops. With Degoryun I got this almost right away in the stadium. I went from only 14 to 54 within about a minute but if not you can try some more tips below Your spikes also have to lop their head off which is another reason that makes this hard. Your spikes often don't line up with their head. You could try the monster truck "Screwie Lewie" since its a bit higher. A ped Vac or Ped tumbler item barely tapped could possibly throw the Ped at enough of a angle to lop their head off as well. People seem to have success hitting the overweight Peds very slowly so that they fall forwards a bit, then hit them again as they get up.

we need to push 35 people onto a car, take any car with spikes on the front and carefully impale pedestrians, the speed should be low so that they are impaled and not torn to shreds

the sign “On the Skewer” will light up; the cumulative trophy does not have to be done at once, you can do it on the good old car from the movie “Back to the Future” - “degoryun”
