How to unlock the Here In My Cars achievement in Carmageddon: Max Damage - Definitive Guide
You can track which cars are unlocked to be stolen in the garage or change car sections of the game, and any that aren't unlocked will give away which chapter unlocks them on the ticker at the top of the screen. For instance, if you go to Stella Stunna's Electric Blue vehicle, the ticker will say it becomes available to be stolen after you gain enough points to unlock Chapter 16. Then you can find a race where her vehicle can be stolen, wreck it, and it becomes available for use/upgrading.
The previous paragraphs are for the vehicles driven by the other racers, the following is for acquiring the police vehicles which round out this achievement, as there are 31 driveable vehicles in the game, two starter vehicles, and 30 of 31 required for the achievement.
The Police APC is rumoured to only unlock upon 100% completion of the game, including completing all Classic Carma races all three ways, by killing all racers, killing all pedestrians, or completing all the laps. THE POLICE APC IS NOT NEEDED FOR THIS ACHIEVEMENT!!!
In order to unlock the Compact Unit: Nil Threat (cu:nt) SMART Car vehicle, you must complete all 63 events through all 16 chapters.
To unlock the Subpressor, load up "Blood On The Rooftops" Death Race at the end of Chapter 15. Towards the end of each lap is the multi-level parking garage, where you can find the Subpressor patrolling on the upper levels. Wreck it and it's yours.
NOTE: You can find the Subpressor in a lot of races in the late chapters, I just found "Blood On The Rooftops" to be the easiest level to kill it on.
To unlock the Super Suppressor, load up "Erasing Arizona", the Classic Carma race for Chapter 15. From the start, turn immediately right and work your way over to Area 52B (The Military Base with the UFO sticking 3/4 out of the ground, dead giveaway). Make sure you have 'Solid Granite Car' slaved to one of your purchasable power-up spots on your directional pad. It costs 100,000 credits each time you use it, so you're going to have to rack up a body count of numerous peds and a couple fellow racers you can wreck, they'll find you at the base quite quickly. There's also a 'Solid Granite Car' power-up located in random black power-up barrels dotted around the base. Once you have the power-up, aim your hits for the FORWARD section of the Super Suppressor, which you'll find in one of the open hangars at the end of the runway that doesn't end in a ramp. If you can get 'Pelvic Thrust' power-ups, they help to intensify your hits against the Super Suppressor, and will take more than a few hits to wreck. Every time you hit the Super Suppressor while 'Solid Granite Car' is active however, each hit will be worth considerably more credit totals, as you're scoring significantly more damage than usual, and thus saving up for another 'Solid Granite Car' power-up sooner will be much easier.
Once you wreck the Super Suppressor however, you will not only be rewarded with the vehicle, but also FIVE MILLION CREDITS, which will unlock the Total Banker achievement.
Once you have made the thirty vehicles I've mentioned which are required for the achievement available (driveable), the achievement will unlock.
To complete this mission, you have to unlock 31 cars.
This one is a little confusing as towards the end, most people only have 29 in your list. Most people wonder where the last 2 or 4 are. There are 27 regular cars, 2 cop car unlocks and 2 special unlocks
- The Cu:nt cop car is gained by completing the game
- The Suppressor is gained by wrecking it
The next 2 cars are the Super suppressor and APC
Super suppressor:
In Chapter 15, there is a giant truck in a hangar - destroy it!
APC:
The hard part is getting the APC. You need to get 100% career which means the first event of each level has to be done all 3 ways as well as being first in all events. Use electric blue to kill all the Peds on the level. Once you get down to the last 100 Peds they start getting really hard to find. If I have a lot of money I try to spam the resurrect Ped powerup just in case my lightning doesn't hit them. It can take you sometimes a half hour just to find the last person. This really isn't hard per say but will take a lot of time. There is a special barrel per level that will show Peds on map. About 3 or 4 of those barrels are really hard to get.
When looking at Classic Carma events, white means you have not done it yet, and red icons mean you have. A few things that helped me get some of the last Peds appear was buy some powerups. The Suicide Ped will make them come towards you, Turbo come towards you faster. There is also 2 DLC cars in the PS store to help pop this if you get stuck. Another tip which may help you is that each map has a special barrel that will make all Peds appear on the map. Some of these special barrels are easy to get and some are so hard they aren't worth it.
