You may get this sooner but for me. I unlocked this on the stage Military Junkyard. You'll be at this stage when you unlock the achievement Machines Can Expire Too (story related)
When you're at this stage;
Go Left
Go down x1

when prompted by the computer. It'll start a flash back scene where you control a human. After finishing the flash back scene. You will unlock The Darelictachievement -

Story-related; this unlocks for reliving the first memory sequence.
After unlocking "Machines Can Expire Too", head to the left and go down the first tunnel. You will emerge in a large area with a pool of water in the lower-left corner of the area. In the center of this area is a door you can squeeze in to begin this flashback.
Completing this flashback unlocks this achievement and opens a door in the upper-right corner of the area so you can proceed with the story.
