How to unlock the MASTER TRACKER achievement in Cars 2: The Video Game - Definitive Guide

There are 20 "Spy Pick Up Points" in total. They are a blueish icon that can be seen through walls and objects. In most cases its a simple jump to grab them. There are a few tricky ones. I myself found them without any help, but since then a video has emerged from my buddy Shoe478, from ps3trophies.com. I included this in my x360a.com Cars 2 Achievemet Guide! So enjoy the video!!!

Im almost sure you can grab most, if not all in free play. In fact there are some that are just easier to grab in free play. I only grabed one in free play, the rest I just did as I played the C.H.R.O.M.E. missions. So I'm 90% sure all will spawn in free play.

Yes, go to the chrome missions, and look at each track, and if youve found it, in the bottom corner the spy pick up symbol will be there. And if not it will say not yet found,

No problem, I'm done with solutions, as people are retards and give negative votes, wihout a reason. This vid shows every collectable, so how could any one find it not help full enough to give it a thumbs down....W/E I'm done wasting my time...Enjoy as always!!!!!

thanks for putting the work in on the video. One thing that I just found out which people may find useful (especially on the Imperial Tour one) is that you can jump higher with the shorter boost than you can with the double boost.

Another thing I would suggest is using a smaller, lighter car like Guido as they can jump significantly higher. This helps in reaching some of the harder to collect points pickups.

I think we need to request to have it like facebook as where you can see who voted positively and who voted negatively. It would eliminate the "trolls" who downvote EVERYTHING!

with respect to neg votes - this site is a microcosm of society in general. Most people are honest and vote as such, but there are always morons who neg just because they can do so without repercussion, or just to incite a response. No consequence, no change in action. As as in society, these people disgust me.

Great video guide! Helped me get the collectibles in no time.
R.I.P. Crusty

@SpinalSynopsis You don't need to know someone in person to actually care. He's the only person on TA that went into the trouble of making this great video guide (what's so horrible about it? It points out the location of all collectibles), so others can get this cheevo easily. Post your own video guide with your own editing skills and then judge others.

@SpinalSynopsis it's called empathy, it shows real character to care or feel what others are going through. You have none apart from having the skill of being a moron with shades. Oh your real cool uh? Not! Your just a sad, bitter person have a great life.

Much appreciated Crusty!

I know some people like knowing which levels they need to check for the collectables, following the video here's a list of the first Clearance level that the map appears on. (Luckily I had very few collected)

Note: I suggest only using this list to find out which ones are still required collect, and not for using the level for collection, as some of the levels listed are survival ones and would be much more efficient collecting them in the noted Free Play mode level.

As stated in a previous comment from Crusty, to see if it's been collected on the map, Select a clearance level, and then a map, it'll either show the icon or "Not Found".

C.H.R.O.M.E. Level (Video Course - Free Play Mode)

Clearance 1
There's No Place Like C.H.R.O.M.E. (Pipeline Sprint - Race)
Unwelcome Aboard (Oil Rig Run - Race)
In Plane Sight (Terminal Sprint - Race)
Fast Friends (Mountain Run - Race)
Oil Rig Showdown (Oil Rig Arena - Arena)

Clearance 2
Objects in Mirriors (Ginza Sprint - Race)
Hit The Road (Vista Run - Race)
Runway Invasion (Runway Tour - Race)
Porto Corsa Invasion (Casino Tour - Race)
World Grand Prix (Buckingham Sprint - Race)
Airport Showdown (Airport Arena - Arena)

Clearance 3
Power Surge (Imperial Tour - Race)
Coastal Invasion (Harbor Sprint - Race)
London Showdown (London Arena - Arena)

Clearance 4
Italy Showdown (Italy Arena - Hunter)

Clearance 5
Sour Lemons (Hyde Tour - Race)
Home Security (Radiator Sprint - Race)
Lightning the Mood (Canyon Run - Race)
Tokyo Showdown (Tokyo Arena - Hunter)

Clerance 6
Trial in the Timbers (Timberline Sprint - Race)

Edit: Times stamps have been added to a comment on the video.

Hey guys

Heres a guide I compiled a while ago of every location of the spy points.

Lemme know what you think!

The spy pick ups are marked on the levels with a blue dot (when you are in their vicinity) and look like an open briefcase. There are only 20 in the whole game and there is only one per event area. They will be translucent on the map allowing you the see them from multiple angles through walls or objects. When selecting a C.H.R.O.M.E event, in the lower right of the screen, it will either say “Not yet found” or “Found”. You can pick them up while playing through story mode but if you are having trouble grabbing one, you can set up a Free Play event on the track you need to allow more time and less opponents. This will make it easier to drive / jump through them.

Also, after grabbing the Spy Point Pick Up, you can just quit out of the event and the game will save your progress and the collectible!!!!

Below is a video by shoe478 showing all 20 locations.
