The Secret Achievement achievement in Carto worth 117 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
Once you enter the chalet you'll have a cut scene. In the room you're in read:
Mother's Reach
Head right and read:
The Ups and Downs of the Story Chalet. (This will give you a 'treasure' map)
Head right and read:
A Message in a Beetle.
Head left and upstairs. Read:
The Little Cartographer.
Arrange the map so it looks like this:
Then work your way from the top right most room to the bottom left most room reading any books you might have missed. If you've read them so far up to hear then you should just have the ones below left to read:
The GOAT Attraction.
A Distant Missive.
The Mystery of the Speedy Sheep.
Husky Business.
Neverwinter Naps.
You should have all the books read now. If not once the game is complete you can use chapter select and head into the Chalet chapters to re-read any you missed. When you're in the bottom left most map piece a cut scene will happen.
Enter the room that opens and go through the cut scene. Press the lever.
After the cut scene do not enter the tree immediately, unless you already have the achievement:

This should be achievable in Chapter 6. If you do have it skip this section, if you don't have the achievement then follow the instructions below:
Open up your map, if you go to the right you'll see a host of other map pieces away from where you are. You want to arrange 4 specific map pieces to this shape (you'll want to be on one of the four pieces):
Interact with the four birds in the middle and your achievement will unlock.
Head back to the big tree and you're now free to enter. Once you've entered you'll be tasked with connecting every map piece.

Cut scene. Open up your map, place the airship piece next to the one you're on and we've finally found granny.
After the credits roll and a short cut scene, you'll be able to replay chapters in Chapter Select if you missed any miscellaneous achievements.
