How to unlock the As You Like It achievement in Cassette Beasts - Definitive Guide
Because of the difference in versions between PC and Xbox currently, you can only get these to pop in the PC version. I had already gotten all of the characters to 5 stars on Xbox and couldn’t get these to pop retroactively on PC.
So I used the debug console to reset the characters to 4 stars and then “naturally” got them back to 5 stars. To do that:
1) Hold CTRL and type ‘cheats’. This will unlock the debug console. You can now Press F1 or ~ to open the console.
2) Add Viola to your party, open the console and enter ‘relationship_level 4’. Hit enter to submit.
3) Type ‘next_relationship_level’ to satisfy the conditions to get her to level 5.
4) Rest at a campfire or the cafe (should only take one rest but try a few times/places if it doesn’t prompt you for a relationship level 5 scene).
Once the scene is complete you should get this achievement.

Thumbs up for the workaround, but I didn't need to do all that to pop it. After getting 5* with Viola on Xbox and it not popping, I saw your guide and dled the game and logged in on PC. Immediately after logging in on PC the in-game achievement tracker popped for it showing "completed" under achievements in the quest log, but still didn't pop the Xbox cheevo.
But since the in-game tracker showed completed and all the other cheevos popped on Xbox for every other quest/rumor etc when that happened, I relogged in on Xbox. As soon as my character/game world loaded up, it popped. So didn't need to do the whole debug/console remedy.
But still thumbs up cuz if I hadn't read your guide, wouldn't have thought to try a PC solution. Probably woulda just waited for a patch 😂

The first relationship level for all partner characters is unlocked by completing their personal quest, except for Kayleigh, whose first level unlocks after completing This Is The World We Live In and her second level unlocks after completing her personal quest I Ran So Far Away.
For the other relationship levels, as the player character battles alongside the partner, any experience points they earn are also counted as "relationship points". Once the player's relationship points with a partner exceed a level-specific threshold, then the next time the player rests with that partner in the Gramophone Café, a relationship level-up scene will trigger, increasing their relationship level and resetting their relationship points to 0.
Level up, Points required
0 → 1, ---
1 → 2, 1,512
2 → 3, 4,104
3 → 4, 7,992
4 → 5, 13,176
Dating → Romantic, 19,656
The number of red heart icons corresponds to the partner's relationship level. When a partner's relationship is ready to level up, their heart icons will be beating (in the Party menu). I think it is also required that each partner sticks with their signature monster tape to gain relationship points.
