Gambit is a Typeless Status Effect move that raises all the user’s stats by a lot. After 3 turns, the tape breaks.
There are 2 ways you can obtain the Gambit move:
- Acquire the sticker from a merchant in Harbourtown
- Level up a beast who learns it naturally
I personally never saw a merchant have this sticker available, so I took the grindier route which is to acquire a Queenyx. You want to go with Queenyx because is the beast with the lowest level/star requirement to learning it.
You first need to record Pawndead, then remaster it into a Skelevangelist, then remaster again into Queenyx, choosing the option "Speed" in the dialogue box. Queenyx earns the Gambit sticker at 2 stars. Hopefully you have an Upgrape or two handy to speed up the level process.
Once you have the sticker, if your Queenyx has a full move set, simply temporarily swap out a move for Gambit. And like the other "Win a battle with X move" achievements, simply go out the area just side of Harbourtown where beasts are level 1-3 and can be easily defeated with just the base attacks.
