Viola first appears in the Marshes. When you open the ranger chest north of the campfire in the Marshes, 3 Jellyton will attack you. Viola appears and assists you with fighting against the Jellyton.
After defeating the Jellyton, Viola requests your help with finding her brother Sebastian. This starts Viola's quest "Everybody’s Looking For Something".
You'll find Sebastian's ghost in an arch to the northwest, which marks the Cast Iron Shore. After you return to Viola with the news, Viola will join you as a partner.
