You will need to go to the Town Hall on the first island, then to the top left. Up here you will see 3 wall charts. Each one has a line that tracks the profits of each company. The aim here is to buy low, which is when the line on the graph is low. Then sell high when, that’s right , you guessed it, the bar is high.
Each company has a maximum of 20 stocks at once you can buy or sell. The left most is the cheapest and therefore least profitable. The right most is the most expensive and therefore most profitable. I invested in all of them when the timing was right, and made a tidy profit each time. Just check in the Town Hall when you can. For me I checked every 10 minutes or so to be on the safe side as you can suddenly lose out on making maximum profits.

Buy low, sell high - That's the basic gist of this trophy. In the bank, there is a small area dedicated to buying and selling stocks (in the back, to the left). There are 3 stocks available: Accolele (low risk), Apfelzeit (Mid risk), Northernhamisphere (high risk).
You want to buy the stocks when they are at a low value:

This trophy is cumulative to your save file so you don't need to make a profit of 5,000 in one trade (in fact, that is impossible). As soon as your overall profits reach 5,000, the trophy will unlock.
The stocks change minute by minute so when you buy a stock, just be sure to check in on the market every now and then to see where the value is currently at. If playing with the high risk stocks only (Northernhamisphere), you can get this in about 3-4 trades.
