How to unlock the Just a Fletch Wound achievement in Castle Invasion: Throne Out - Definitive Guide

This one frustrated me.

This one happens when you beat level 30. The boss on this level looks kinda like a ninja, but hides behind bayles of hay & also plants pumpkins as cover.

First tip: make sure your crossbow is upgraded as much as you can to this point. If it isn't keep replaying level 7 to build up enough coins to upgrade it.

Second tip: *hold* the A button down. The crossbow repeatedly fires if you hold A down.

Third tip: don't worry about his crossbow bolts so much as focus on him. Spears (especially) and arrows shoot down before they hit your wall, but otherwise focus your fire on him.

With these in mind, it's still aggravating but on the bright side: pretty much if you beat this level it's almost definitely going to be with 3 stars.

Once I knew I could hold A down with the crossbow, I beat (and three starred) this level first try. +1

Stupidest fight in the game. You definitely need to predict his moves and get to his stopping positions long before he does. Took me 10 tries to 3 star, easy to beat otherwise.

The Evil Archer is the boss of level 30. He is kind of like your doppelganger as he has the same weapons and attacks as you. The main difference with this fight than the previous ones is that he has two hay bales to hide before that can not be destroyed as well as pumpkins which can be. He will begin the fight by moving around behind these objects firing arrows & spears at you while ducking down behind the hay and pumpkins. Just shoot down his attacks and aim to get rid of the pumpkins on the screen while attacking him when you can. Once you do enough damage, he will start firing his crossbow at you and move out from behind the hay bales and start putting down new pumpkins in front of them before retreating back behind them again. While he is doing this, keep attacking him while also taking out his arrows and then when he retreats go back to the previous strategy. He will keep repeating those steps but will move faster and fire more arrows/spears at a time as the fight goes on. I would recommend that you use your crossbow for the entire battle as it makes it easier to attack him quickly, destroy the pumpkins fast and knock down his attack easier. Just keep attacking until you beat him and get the trophy.

The archer can be very frustrating and appears on level 30. He moves fast and fires a lot of ranged attacks at your castle, and put pumpkins and hay bales in the way as cover. Upgrade your crossbow as much as you can and hold down to continuously fire at him. Learn his movements and try and shoot down as much of his ranged attacks as you can while ticking away at his health. It’s a battle of attrition to see who runs out of health first, but with an upgraded crossbow, you should have the advantage.
