How to unlock the On a Bow String Budget achievement in Castle Invasion: Throne Out - Definitive Guide

Need More Gold?
If you plan on 100% this you're going to be replaying levels and trying to maximize weapons in any way that you can. You upgrade your weapons with the goal of maximizing their effectiveness through gold coins. These coins are obtained by killing off enemies and keeping your multiplier (combo) up.

Gold farming:
One of the easiest and earliest levels to gold farm on is level 7. Here you will face plenty of easy to kill enemies. This will allow you to utilize your bow to one shot each of them and work your way towards a higher multiplier. You will average between 150-200 coins per playthrough if you grind this level and pick up all the coins. This will allow you to maximize your weapons, upgrade your speed, 3 star levels quicker, etc.

Hope this helped out a little bit! wave

Does anyone know what level you have to get to/past before the upgrades are available?
I was wondering the same thing until I noticed the Anvil symbol at the top of the levels screen, it’s where the upgrades are located.

I'm ~25 levels in and there appear to be no more upgrades to buy, there's must be something else to this, rather than just saving up gold. Does anyone know what level you have to get to/past before the upgrades are available?

You upgrade weapons/skills by collecting coins during battles and then selecting the hammer/anvil at the top of the level select screen. The later levels usually give more coins, so it's best to just keep playing straight through the game and upgrading what you can while you go. You can replay previous levels to collect more coins if you are struggling on a current level to upgrade your weapons and hopefully making things easier for you.

The bow has 3 things you need to upgrade:

Arrow Reload Speed:
Level 1 - 0G
Level 2 - 50G
Level 3 - 125G
Level 4 - 250G
Level 5 - 500G

Arrow Range:
Level 1 - 15G
Level 2 - 30G
Level 3 - 75G
Level 4 - 150G
Level 5 - 400G

Arrow Speed:
Level 1 - 30G
Level 2 - 75G
Level 3 - 125G
Level 4 - 250G
Level 5 - 400G

Once you have upgraded all possible things for the Bow, the trophy will pop.

Upgrading your weapons takes a lot of gold, but thankfully gold is easy to come by. Gold is obtained by killing your enemies. The higher your multiplier the more gold you will earn. Just remember to pick up the gold by shooting it! You will earn a great deal of gold by simply replaying levels as you try and earn all three stars for each one. If you still need gold, find a level you are comfortable with repeating and go at it, trying to keep your multiplier as high as possible.

Some upgrades are not available until later in the game. If you’ve bought everything in the store, don’t fret, simply continue on and check back later after you’ve made some progress. He will add new upgrades every once in awhile.
