How to unlock the A Belmont's Destiny achievement in Castlevania Advance Collection - Definitive Guide

In order to play as Julius you have to beat the game once and on new save file enter the name JULIUS. The final boss in this version of the game is Graham. Killing normal enemies will not gain Julius any XP but you can increase your strength by killing bosses and collecting their orbs. Personally I recommend killing around 5 bosses or more just to make the Graham fight way more tolerable.

You have the ability to go straight to the final boss, but if you do the damage you cause will be a complete joke, so kill some of the bosses first.

Oh wow, that was insanely easy, only took about 20 minutes, good guide.

Might be worth adding a map, with boss locations to the guide, as I ended up referring to a map on Google :)

Like Richter Mode in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. You actually can go straight to the final boss. Axe ends up being a great sub weapon for that boss fight. You constantly need to dodge to survive. You may need to use save states for a few reasons. But I will say Julius is rather fun to play outside boss fights. You won't be able to get inside the Chaos Realm though.

Here are a few tips to make this alot easier and faster. Killing regular enemies does not give xp, so no reason to fight them.

-When Julius is on the ground you can hit LB to do a shadow move for a few seconds. During this time you will not be able to take damage. You can use this to phase thru enemies and run by them. Standing on the boat, this also gets you thru the waterfall.

-When in the air LB will do a flying uppercut. Hitting this repeatedly will allow you to fly and stay off the ground. With a room of multiple enemies on the ground this will allow you to pass them easily. This also works great when fighting Graham's final form to kill the laser on the ceiling first.
