How to unlock the Intertwined fates achievement in Castlevania Anniversary Collection - Definitive Guide

Enter "Help Me" for your name to start with 10 lives.

Here is the password to start the last level with Sypha in your party. You do not need to switch to Sypha at any point to get the achievement. She just needs to be in your party.

Blank, Heart, Blank, Whip
Heart, Blank, Blank, Blank
Blank, Whip, Blank, Blank
Cross, Cross, Blank, Heart

Be sure to save often and abuse the save feature as much as you can.

When you get to the room with the bridge going left and has 2 of those double headed things shooting fireballs, the 2nd which is by the door has collapsing floors in front of it. I found it difficult to get past without losing a lot of health or dying so I would just let myself get hit while running past it and jumping over it to the door. There is a checkpoint once you enter the next room. It's the only checkpoint of the level. I would let myself die there to respawn again at full health. One of the candles after that will have an axe. I recommend grabbing it and hanging on to it. Save your hearts and don't use it until the final Dracula form.

Dracula form 1:
He will spawn 2 pillars of fire. If you're moving around more, you're more likely to have them spawn farther apart which will give you more room to work. Ideally you want to have the closest one to him spawn close enough that you can reach with your whip. You must hit him in the head. Shortly after the first 2 spawn, another one will spawn under you. It takes a bit to get the timing down as when to move to avoid it. Because of the 3rd pillar of flame is why you want more space to work between the first 2 pillars.

Dracula 2nd form:
He has 5 heads that all need to be destroyed. Good thing about the whip is that it can hit multiple heads in one attack. It'll move back and forth throughout the room. You need to avoid the slime each head drools out any time you're under it. Fortunately the more heads you destroy, the less slime he can drool.

Dracula 3rd and final form:
He's now a big monster and you can to hit his head to damage him. This is where the axe is handy. Jump up and while in the air, throw an axe at his head. There are moving platforms that you can use to get higher and closer to his head if you wish. You just need to avoid getting hit by lightning bolts he emits from his hands.

Extra tip to make it a bit easier altogether:
Stack up on hearts before the fight. Don't be worried about time. If you have enough hearts switch to Sypha.
Before the fight Belmont can get a knife but Sypha gets the Fire spell book. It costs only 1 heart per shot and it does INSANE damage on Dracula in all his forms. I think I beat both the first and second form in about 30 seconds. Even better if you find the Ice spell book in the game beforehand. Which is kind of the homing misile from Kid Dracula making this fight even easier. Also costing 1 heart per shot.

Great solution BrutalGuitar
I didn't use Sypha, unfortunately I read the TheBongoFury tip after the battle. Anyway. Thanks all!

When playing with Sypha, you can use her staff (her main weapon) to hit Dracula in the body, not the head. You can stand right next to him and bash away. Of course, this means you'll probably get hit by his fire pillars, but it shortens the fight. When I discovered this trick as a ten-year-old, I felt like a genius. In retrospect...well, I still kind of do (though it's of course not justified). :-)

(Missable)

You can recruit Sypha by defeating the Cyclops at the end of stage 3. Alternatively, you can start the game with Sypha by using the password URATA

The quickest and easiest way to earn this trophy is to use the following password, with the name “Help Me” to start with 10 lives at the beginning of the final stage.

Once you have Sypha, you can change characters using the . If you recruit any other characters, Sypha will leave and you can no longer use her. With Sypha in tow, you must beat the game. You can beat the game without even using Sypha, beating the game entirely with Trevor if you want. As long as Sypha is your spirit, this trophy will be earned.

This trophy is considered missable because if you do not have Sypha in your team when facing Dracula, you will have to start a new game or use a password to get her.

We start the final level with 10 lives (in Sif's partners)

Go to the password and enter HELP ME as the name, and then the following:

Empty window, Heart, Empty window, Chain,
Heart, Empty window, Empty window, Empty window,
Empty window, Chain, Empty window, Empty window,
Cross, Cross, Empty Window, Heart.

It is not necessary to kill Dracula specifically for Sypha, the main thing is that she be one of your partners. The same goes for trophies with other partners. Personally, it was always easier for me to play Trevor and throw axes (especially at the third form of Dracula, you’ll be tortured to get it with ordinary weapons).
