Although it is possible to respond to as many as 25 texts, this achievement is quite missable as 11 of the texts require either some action (or inaction) on your part, making only 14 of them default. Although you may have responded to 20 text by as early as the 5th day, this achievement will pop when you leave the Stray Sheep at the end of the 8th day, so don't worry, you haven't screwed up. It's easy to keep track of how many texts you have responded to by checking your outbox up (until the end of day 6).

Although there are many possible text responses to get the next message, I'm only listing one of them, and using ...[any] when the rest of the responses don't matter in terms of getting the next text, though they may matter on the karma meter. Use http://catherinethegame.wikia.com/wiki/Phone_Mail if you are trying to manage your karma meter at the same time as doing this achievement. Also don't leave the bar if you haven't received and responded to all of the texts for the day (duh.) If you miss responding to a text for the day, you generally won't be able to respond in a following day.

Also, this achievement is way easier to get if you have gold on all the levels already, as then you can skip through the block levels.

Day 1 - 2 texts (2 Katherine)
This day is the easiest to mess up as time doesn't work the same as the other days here. Make sure you respond to Katherine's first e-mail before saving. You want to send a positive response so that she will send a second text. For this put the following responses:

Katherine 1-1 Checking in
Does it bother you?
I worry about it too sometimes.
Maybe we should talk about this.
Drive home safe, okay?

Make sure to respond to Katherine's second text as well as soon as it comes. If you don't, you will miss it!

Day 2 - 5 texts (2 Katherine, 3 Catherine)
There a couple tricks to this one. Send a positive response to Katherine's first text, and don't respond to Catherine's first text right away until she sends a second. After that, send a very positive response to either of Catherine's texts. The rest of the responses don't matter.

Katherine 2-1 Are you at SS again?
Sorry I wasn't home.
You Want to talk now?

Day 3 - 5 texts (2 Katherine, 3 Catherine)
Although there are 5 texts in day 3, you can only get max 4 of them. Katherine will text you again if you send a positive response to her first text. Catherine will text you again if you are either positive or negative enough to her first text.

You can't respond to Catherine's pic, so this leaves 5 text responses for today.
Send Katherine a positive response.
Send Catherine a later response to her second text (the one after the pic), and then a mean brush off to get her angry enough to text back.

This is the first day you can get the achivement. This time the picture of Catherine is respondable to. If you respond encouragingly enough to Catherine's non-pic text, she will text you again. You can also get it by ignoring the text, but this might take a lot longer.
