How to unlock the Whisky Wiseman achievement in Catherine - Definitive Guide

When you're in the Stray Sheep bar you have the option to drink various liquor. Just sit down and press X until your current drink is empty, then when they ask for your order, select Whisky. After you finish your glass you will receive a piece of Whisky trivia. Listen to all the trivia to unlock this achievement. Just keep drinking it until you've heard it all.

Note: I'm fairly certain you can only hear one per drink every night. So you can't just down a bunch of Whiskey to get this quickly. Just remember to drink it each night.

Yeah, you only get one piece of trivia per drink each night.

Have a drink of Sake, Cocktail, whiskey and beer. You will get one piece of trivia for each of this drinks per night.

Each day at the Stray Sheep, be sure to drink Whisky at least 3 times. To take a sip press while sitting at your booth with your friends. Once you finish a drink (three sips), you will get a piece of trivia on that drink, and will be able to order another from Erica. When she comes to your booth request Whisky by pressing and she will bring it to you. Boss the bartender can also take your drink orders up front when you sit there. On the 8th Day, you will unlock the achievement if you have received all the minutiae for Whisky. See Sake Sensei for more information.

These alcoholic drinks are available for you to drink each night at the Stray Sheep Bar beginning on day 2. Each night you will always start in a booth with your friends and will start out with a cocktail. When you have control of Vincent, you will need to push three times to finish up your drink after three sips of your glass or cup. After which the narrator will share some trivia on that drink for the night. After that, Erica will ask if you want another drink, your selections will be:

Whiskey
Beer
Sake
Cocktail

Since you always start off with Vincent’s favorite cocktail, you really never need to reorder that drink. To get all these trophies in one-playthrough and without missing any you will want to order the remaining three drinks on the menu, each time you will take three sips to empty the glass/ cup and you will get a new trivia for that type of drink for the night. Repeat this same process every night until the final night on day 8 which is when these trophies will unlock. You can also order your drinks at the bar with Boss the bartender. That is if you decide to talk to patroons or do not wish to sit back in the booth with your friends.
