Take your bombs and bomb your way out of the regular map. Just set up a bomb on the wall ( the frame your currently in), wait till it blows, walk through the gap and then enter a new room. There's a lot more enemies, blocks and items. And therefore coins!!! The rooms seem infinite so keep an eye for your track back or else you get lost. When you get the golden hammer (super weapon from a big chest) or a lot of hearts and maybe shields (blue hearts) just finish off the Boss, hop into the hole to make your score count and dig through the next level.

You can earn 20 score for hitting outer wall on each level, this way the score goes higher :)

I’m glad I’m not the only one to find this trick. I was blowing up those walls racking the points before even fighting a boss.

You want to farm this ideally in the 1st level.
Blow one of the outside walls up and take your time dispatching the various enemies with your shovel. I recommend going into one of the corners and spam the attack button as they all walk into you.
This is the way to gain extra health/shields and the devil marks you need to legit complete the game(You spawn the devil on 5 marks)
The game tallies your points at the end of a level or death so don't panic if it doesn't pop when you hit 3,6,12k points.
You can see me earn it within 7 mins of grinding the outer walls in the video below if you need it.

Explosive bullets are really helpful basically can stun lock every enemy and boss and with an added tool such as the golden hammer its almost impossible to lose and you can destroy the blocks without bombs with explosive bullets.
