How to unlock the Level 5 Extra Arcade achievement in Caveman Warriors - Definitive Guide
Level 5 takes place in a space station of sorts and is more so a normal platforming level with the added difficulty of many moving platforms. The boss of the stage is the return of the Cavernator in version 2.0. He has 2 attacks he uses, but the area itself also presents an issue during it as well.
The first attack he does is a double spread shot of 3 bullets that he fires at you from different angles and times as he is being moved around the area. All you need to do is to move around between the bullets to avoid them or use Brienne's force field to block them. His other attack is a laser attack at which he fires a constant stream at you for a period of time which you need to use Brienne's force field to block. The stage itself causes issues as you are on 3 separate platforms side by side and every so often, one or more of them will drop into a laser beam under it. You will know which one(s) are dropping as they begin to shake before doing so, so to avoid this you must move to a platform that isn't dropping.
The method to defeating him is to avoid the bullets & laser he shoots, while moving away from the falling platforms until is lowered down enough for you to hit him with a normal attack. Land a few hits on him during these periods and then wait until he moves to the other side of the stage and lowered again. Take your time and if it looks like a platform he is next is about to drop, forget trying to damage him and just get off of it to avoid taking damage yourself and wait for the next opportunity. As the battle goes on and as he takes more damage, he will fire faster and the platforms will drop faster and two at one time will become a common thing. Just keep hitting him safely when you can and avoid damage as much as possible until you finish him off. Once the stage ends successfully, the trophy will pop.
Extra Level Note: Both extra levels in normal & arcade have the same bosses as their regular versions with the same patterns, but the stages leading up to them are set up different and slightly more challenging. Their battery locations are also in different locations.
