Act 2 is much much shorter that ACT 1. This is story related and cannot be missed.
I'm a slow player and it took me 40ish hour to get to this point.

Did the achievement glitch for anybody else? I just unlocked the achievement for completing act 3 while act 2 is still locked.

Ugh, it did not for me. All achievement in the game unlocked normally.
