You are taught all about the Reward board and chains shortly after all your current characters group up for the first time.
1 thing I didn't learn from the tutorial:
You can claim your Rewards and Chain Rewards and it wont reset your chain
So claim those rewards right away :)
Leaving and returning to an area will respawn monsters and loot drops, so it's easy to farm both of these types of challenges to quickly complete 5 connected challenges to pop this achievement.
