How to unlock the For its own good achievement in Chants of Sennaar - Definitive Guide
You can only unlock this once you've completed the link between the Warriors and the Alchemists (see below).
Once you've done that, head back to Laboratory 1 in Level 4 (The Galleries). From Terminal 7, exit the room and take the lift up. Climb the stairs, and then the right hand set of stairs. Walk past the lift and through the round door. The first circular door here is Laboratory 1.

This is one of the more interesting conversations in the game because the warriors DO actually have a word for monster in their lexicon, they just don't make a distinction between the devotees and the monster. In the treasure room on the wall mural that shows the warriors building the fortress and carrying out their duty, the "impure" look like demons. It's what really makes this game shine imo. That through the translations you can see the context of perspective. Similarly, from the warriors perspective the bards are "the chosen ones", they're practically depicted as angels, but when you go up to the bard's level, you see that they're just entitled artists, using slave labor to support their lavish lifestyles while they get drunk and pursue leisure activities

in the first line, monster should actually be "impure" as the warriors don't have "monster" in their lexicon

Once you have learned all the glyphs for the Warriors (The Frontier) and the Alchemists (The Galleries) you can return to the Console Four in The Frontier level and translate the conversation. I suggest you do all translations and purple doors after you have completed the game and received the bad ending (See I did it ). Below is the English translation of the glyphs you will need to choose:
Warrior glyphs:
Warrior glyphs:
- Plural Scientist Seek/Want Help Impure
- Plural Scientist Fear
- Plural Scientist Not Seek/Want Death
Alchemist glyphs:
- Warrior Plural Not Fear Monster
- Warrior Plural Help Alchemist Plural
Once you complete the conversation successfully, return to the Laboratories on the first floor of The Galleries and go in the Lab room on the left. As soon as you enter the room with Warriors and Alchemists investigating the trapped monster, you should receive this trophy.
