Requires you to mix Malt and Barley to make a Wort and then ferment the wort with Yeast to create the beer. You can pick up these ingredients laying around as drops from enemies. Different versions of these will make different beers that permanently boost stats. Some foods have stat upgrades that permanently increase you stats. There is a cap for each level and your stat will turn green in the menu when it's maxed at your level. If you are maxed out the Stat will read be X'd out and 0% will be displayed in the menu meaning you've maxed that stat out for your current level. Save that beer or food for when you level up.

This is what I've found so far, in case people are interested:
There are two barleys (Gold and Red), two malts (White and Aged), and two yeasts (Ale and Lager)
GB + WM = Rich Wort
GB + AM = Bitter Wort
RB + WM = Sweet Wort
RB + AM = Red Wort
Rich Wort + AY = Phantom Pale Ale (Speed +10%)
Rich Wort + LY = Brainy Doppelbock (Anar-Chi +10%)
Bitter Wort + AY = Mermer Witbier (St. +3/Sp. +3/Def. +2/Anar. +2)
Bitter Wort + LY = Unhinged Pilsner (St. +3/Def. +1/Anar. +6)
Sweet Wort + AY = Dark Throne Stout (Strength + 10%)
Sweet Wort + LY = Sunken Dunkel (St. +2/Sp. +5/Def. +1/Anar. +2)
Red Wort + AY = Stone Red Ale (Defense +10%)
Red Wort + LY = Winged Red Lager (St. +2/Sp. +5/Def. +2/Anar. +1)
These numbers should be accurate, btw. If not, you get the idea. Also, each beer can be sold for $10. aka Scratch is right on about saving these for when you level (although I have never seen a level that allowed for a 10% boost in anything yet, that's why I prefer the Mermer Witbier and the Sunken Dunkel)

To do this, you need yeast, malt, and barley. All three drop from enemies randomly. Once you have one of each, go to the brewery and mash the malt and barley together. This will give you a wort, which you can then ferment with a yeast. This will give you an achievement and a beer.
