“Powerups” refers to everything under the “Artifacts” tab in the menu. I believe the only pseudo missable is the diving gear you receive from the Arena, everything else is required, therefore, unmissable.

The powerups in the game are actually called artifacts. There are eight to collect for the trophy; seven are necessary to beat the game. Some artifacts cannot be reached in their respective areas until you get the artifact or item needed to progress.

Press the button to bring up your menu and select “Artifacts” to view your collection. You have to get all of them on one save file.

Artifacts and Locations:

Spiked Gloves - Catacombs
Shin Guards - Keep
Lantern - Mines
Climbing Gear - Gardens
Parachute - Catacombs
Winged Boots - Temple
Translation Book - Gardens
Diving Gear - reward for completing the Arena event in the Keep.
