Chasm: The Rift

Make your way through level 4. Once you find the armor suit, definitely MAKE A SAVE BEFORE PICKING IT UP. You’re going to want to go through the door on the right first, but you have to try to run and dodge him a bit before the door will open. This part is utterly frustrating and may take a few tries.

After making it through the door, round the corner and head to the right when you come to the two Ls that jut out of the wall. Hit the switch back here. Head back out and to the right, and hit the switch here as well.

Head back all the way to the beginning room, and travel through the now opened door. Make your way all the down this corridor and flip the third switch. All three switches so far only require to be activated once.

Next, guide the boss back closer to the first room to make this sequence easier. Once he’s back there, quickly dash down either corridor to the switch on the back wall under a lightning bolt. Duck into the hallway that just opened behind it and hit the switch on your left. Be careful: this activates the fan that kills the boss. Try to hug the left side of the wall while getting sucked toward the fan to sneak into a tiny hole where you can hit yet another switch.

Now, the final part! Hug the right as you run from your nook to the nook across from you. This will return you back to the opening room of the fight. Lure the boss yet again, but this time to the switch that leads to the fan. When he’s close, hit the switch under the lightning bolt again and guide him in front of the fan. Finally, it will be sucked into the fan and the first (and maybe worst) boss is complete!

Don’t forget to make a save if you haven’t died from the fan up to this point and kill yourself by walking into the fan to unlock before heading off to the second batch of levels.
