This achievement should pop whilst doing Challenges and other achievements but if those are all completed, load up a game on Novice and run through your opponent and continue until it unlocks.

You'll obtain this over the course of natural gameplay. Capture pieces online, in A.I. games, even in the tutorials and you'll add to your 100 piece count. I have 3.8 hours of play time, however, if you really want this for a challenge or some other purpose, such as a site event, you can play the easy A.I. and collect pieces easily.
