How to unlock the Comedy achievement in Child of Light - Definitive Guide

Rubella is a jester who can't get rhymes right, you can unlock this achievement after your first flight.
Once you gain the power to fly, fly up and follow the path where you will find a jester crying on a platform. Talk to her and she will join your party. Rubella has healing powers which help ALOT during the game so they should be your first priority when unlocking her upgrades.
Now that you have her, you can fly back to the alter you awoke on and keep going a little past it to fight the giant and his pet dogs.
Note: do not try take the giant on without rubella as he can deal 40+ damage, even with the DLC stardust he will still own you.

This has glitched for me - met her and she's joined my party, but no achievement

Unlocked fine for me as soon as she joined the party.

I completely passed her by. Fought the giant and won, but man was it tough! Not unbeatable though.

Rubella is the Jester who can't rhyme to save her own life, but does an excellent job of saving yours on the battlefield, with her awesome healing skills!

After gaining the ability to fly, you'll meet Rubella shorty afterwards, crying on a platform. After some interaction, she will join your party and you'll earn this trophy. You'll soon find that she's a reliable asset, as there'll be an upcoming battle that will prove impossible without her healing skills.

You'll also receive a Lemuria Request from Rubella after she joins your party titled, Rubella's Plight. Completing 3 of these NPC requests works towards earning the following trophy as well.

Story-related, can’t be missed.

Rubella joins the party at the start of Chapter 3.

After you gain the ability to fly, you will exit the building by flying out through the top. To the left after you exit, there is a small floating island with someone standing on it. This is Rubella, go speak to her and she will join your party.
