Child of Light

Confessions are letters that are found floating around in the game, you must collect all 16 of them for this trophy. You can redeem something to help with this from Uplay for 40 points, it tells you how many confessions there are in each area in the game and how many you have collected in each area. I recommend getting it if you are able as keeping track of which ones you have can save time.

Mahthildis Forest: 5 Confessions

Old Monastery (Confession #1) – At the end of Chapter 2, just after gaining the ability to fly, you will fly out of the Old Monastery through the roof. Just after flying out of there, there will be a confession floating in the sky above.

Left of Altar (Confession #5) – During Chapter 3 you are told to go back to where you started; at the altar. Make your way back to there and keep going left, you are now able to access this area because you can fly. Fly up through there and keep going up, there will be a confession floating around here just above the entrance to the Tree of Thorns.

Tree of Thorns (Confession #8) – Just after you leave the Tree of Thorns through the left side, there is a small tree that you can fly above. There is confession floating just above the tree.

Capilli Village Well (Confession #3) – During Finn’s quest to save the villagers you will go into a well. Go through the area until you reach a large open space near the end of the area. The confession is floating near the top right of the open space. This is just before the boss fight.

Left of Capilli Village (Confession #6) – After completing Finn’s quest and rescuing the villagers, go left into the forest. Go through to the end of the area to arrive at the entrance for the Plains of Rambert. Go back a little bit back into the small cavern you just passed through and go up in the direction of the gust of wind, when you come out at the top there will be a confession floating about on the right.

Plains of Rambert – 3 Confessions

Windwheels (Confession #7) – Just after Norah joins your party, you will be in another open area with broken railroad tracks. There will be a confession floating around this area.

Windwheels (Confession #2) – In the same area as Confession #7, go to the bottom left into a cavern. Go past the set of spikes and you will come to a set of doors. Make your way through the mine type area and solve the puzzles on the way to gain access to the bottom right room that contains 4 coffers, there is a confession floating in here.

Inside Magna (Confession #9) – During Chapter 6 you will go inside the body of a giant golem. Not long after entering you will come across the golems heart which Aurora will speak about. From this part, fly down until you see a crevice on the left with lava and two fire balls that spit out, the confession will be here.

Cliffs of Eren – 4 Confessions

Before the Temple of the Moon (Confession #15) – Just before the area where you find Tristis, there is a part to the left with two waterfalls and wind, the confession is floating around there.

Forgotten Tower (Confession #4) – Just after starting Chapter 8, move through the area until you come to open area with a large, dead tree in the background. The confession is floating above.

Forgotten Tower (Confession #14) – After Óengus has joined your party for good, you exit the castle to the right. When you get outside you can fly up and there is a confession floating around, just before the boss fight against Cordelia/Crepusculum.

Mirror (Confession #10) – During Chapter 7 you will be making your way to the mirror, when you reach it the confession should be floating somewhere above.

Cynbel Sea – 4 Confessions

Piscean Village (Confession #11) - After reaching the village and meeting Gen, continue going right until you reach one of those peculiar shrines that apparently used to be a sign. Fly above this area and the confession should be floating somewhere in the strong winds.

The Gate of the Sun (Confession #13) – Once entering the tower that was being guarded, go right until you see a path in the ground with a large crystal sticking out of it. Go down the path a keep going left until you reach a large generator that is sending electricity through the crystal. From there, keep going left and you when reach a dark, open area. Start going down and left until you get to a group of water currents going down, the confession should be in this area.

The Gate of the Sun (Confession #16) – Just after Confession #13, keep going to the left and you will come to a fountain, the type of fountain where Aurora checks up on her father. After this, go left and you will come to a boss fight. Defeat the boss then fly above and there should be a confession floating around.

The Temple of the Sun (Confession #12) - When you are making your way through this area you will eventually come to a room where Nox is. Nox will speak to you then fly off, when you resume playing the confession is automatically given to you.
