How to unlock the Piscean Promise achievement in Child of Light - Definitive Guide

you can easy miss Gen, but you can always go back and get her. Travel to Piscean Village and enter the House after you defeated the Elevator-Guy at the End of Chapter 9.

this achievement glitched for me.....

i finished the plight, and had the uplay thing pop for me..but no achievement

yeah this one glitched for me as well. already at the last boss fight and have gen but no achievement

most people i have heard about WHO amde the glicthed achievemnts pop, did it by deleting their save and starting over from scratch..did you do that? or did you play a newgame+?

i am personally trying to make it pop ina newgame plus, but by deleting uplay

No glitch for me, lucky guy.
I just like to add an info: if you miss it before your final battle, you can even return there in the "post-game" without restarting a new one.

yeah, you have to delete the save file and start over. I did that and got the achievement right after getting her as a follower.

doesn't take too long but still tedious

I'm a new user of Xbox One, with it being released only in my country a week ago. I find that achievements tend to take a long time to unlock on the machine. I actually have an achievement (Level 10) popped only when Aurora reached Level 12.

I then found that if I dashboard the game, and go into the "Achievement" app on the Xbox One, the achievement would've already been unlocked, just that the pop-up did not happen. As such, after I fulfilled Gen's quest, and the achievement didn't unlock, I did the above, and saw that the achievement has indeed unlocked. This is when the pop-up happened as well, when I was in the "Achievement" app.

Not sure if this would help anyone who has glitched, but for future players, perhaps you may consider using the dashboard to check on the score before quitting the game.

Gen joins the party in Chapter 9.

After starting Chapter 9 you will soon come to Piscean Village. You will speak to two inhabitants of the village, one of which asks you to go and find her parents. Carry on going right until you come to a tower, inside there is a puzzle with roman numerals. Solve the puzzle and then a boss fight will begin; beat the boss and you will receive the "Gen’s Plight" quest. Go back to Gen in Piscean Village and speak to her, she will join your party afterwards and you will get this trophy.

Optional! (Chapter 9).

You will have to complete the puzzle on the east side of Piscean Village, defeat the giant mini-boss, and return to Gen's house in the village to unlock the achievement.

To get Jen into the squad, you need to complete the quest "Jen's Trouble"
Talking to Jen
We learn that her family was kidnapped by an ogre. We move to the right from the fishermen's village until we come across a room with Roman numerals. We solve the puzzle - we kill the ogre - we return to Jen.
