How to unlock the The Girl and the Firefly achievement in Child of Light - Definitive Guide

Story related

This will be the first achievement you obtain, after the cut scenes and you are free to move your character Aurora around, while you may explore to the left of the screen nothing is yet in your reach. Keep walking to the right and you will meet the your blue partner, the Firefly named Igniculus. As you do the achievement will unlock, nothing to it!

EDIT: This achievement may not be unlocking quite the number of people, so it may be a little glitchy. There is no news as of yet as to why this is.

It seems there is a vast amount of people having trouble with alot of the achievements in this game, so your not alone. Nobody is sure why it is either :(

So I played though the whole game got every achievement but this one. Then I tried a new game + met him again, like you do the first time. Waited about 30 seconds after the conversation and it popped! Yay the easiest achievement took me the longest to get.

Glad to hear it popped second time, lucky it was the first achievement you get. I have several ones closer to the end game i'm gonna have to redo :(

Interesting that it still doesn't unlock after all this time, best bet it to start again as it's the first achievement you should unlock.

I didn't get it when I should have, but after quitting the game to the main menu it popped. Strange!

It didn't unlock first time for me just now, but I then started a new game and it unlocked after speaking to the firefly the second time around.

Story related and can not be missed (Chapter 1).

This unlocks right away upon meeting him.
