This is awarded for finishing every stage of the Arena. The Arena opens midway and can be overlooked easily due to its placement (the castle icon in the upper right):

This trophy refers to the Arena which unlocks midway through the game. There are 4 levels of increasingly difficult Skirmishes featuring defeated bosses. Regardless of difficulty these can be challenging due to the sheer volume of enemies. I would recommend waiting until post game when your cards are leveled up to make this significantly easier (you will also need to clear all 4 levels on HARD for another trophy).
Another tactic if you are finding yourself swarmed by enemies, is to kite smaller groups of enemies back to parts of the landscape that benefit you, since if you just charge in your units will likely be attacked by 4-5 enemies. With no time limit you can attack from a distance with Brice's DAMNED or debuff spells from across the river and wait for enemies to come to you.
