Since heroes can easily and unexpectedly be killed on HARD difficulty, I'd recommend 2 playthroughs. Go for this one on NORMAL and utilize the mid-battle save. Reload if one of your team members dies.
There are only 20 Story missions and if you rush the game on NORMAL you can get this out of the way along with the specific mission criteria trophies (which are very difficult to obtain on HARD).
