Required weapon: Void Ray
You can obtain this in the later half of the game. At a certain point you'll be asked by "Anwaan" to look after his disciples. After you've completed these disciple missions you'll be rewarded with the Void Ray.

Unlocking:
Killing an enemy with this weapon will spawn a purple energy cloud. Simply fly through this spawned cloud while you have a full rite energy bar.

For this achievement you need the laser weapon called Void Ray. This weapon is a quest reward from a side mission in the final stages of the game.

The quest starts in Nimika and can be started by talking to the NPC Arwaan which is waiting at the Training Grounds once you removed a certain story related Circle faction and progressed the story. Simply advance with the story until you have cleared the story in Nimika. This quest can be done until the point of no return. Don't worry about missing it.

The quest will take you from Nimika to the Kinuuk Fields and back again to Nimika. Once you have interacted and helped all acolytes, the final legs of the quest will take you back to the Kinuuk Fields. It is a lengthy quest but the final reward will be the Void Ray. Once equipped, just kill enemies to spawn a lightning cloud which you can absorb to overcharge your Rite energy.
