Pretty easy achievement that you can get early yourself if you wish, however it will probably come naturally through gameplay.
When you get the options to use repair drones early on, fly into the nearest outpost structure/tunnel wall/asteroid etc and keep ramming it until you hit 10% health, then press
on the d-pad and your ship will fully heal.

I'd like to add that it took me a couple tries to hit the "sweet spot" for this achievement until I realized that after getting down to the red critical flashing of health, I could just place the ship against the structure and hit the thrust to grind the hull against the object. This allowed me to get the health down even more without overshooting the target.
Just remember to pull away from the structure so the drone will actually work!
