Story-related; After progressing to the second main area, crouch under the borders into the abandoned mine. Continue forward and turn off the steam by interacting with the wheel to your left (unlocking The Gas Leak (100G)). Then, around the corner, interact with the middle and last wheels to enter the office and grab the key from the desk. Exit the abandoned mine and continue to the right to open the next gate.
