How to unlock the Academic Scholar achievement in Cities: Skylines - Definitive Guide

You will want to have multiple campuses. The more the better. This also has to to be 100 “present” academic works. What this means is you cannot destroy the main college building or else you lose all works for that college and must start fresh for it.

Each academic year you will generate a random assortment of works based upon which option you choose in the campus info pane.

You need to ensure that you are a hundred percent staffed at each campus and that you have selected an academic work for each campus at the beginning of each year. Always give the max amount of funding.

Between three campuses I had around 100 done within a handful of hours or less while I also worked on the industry achievements.

I typically chose cinematography, dissertation, and IT engineering for my academic works. At one point towards the end I was getting about 3-5 works per campus, they were all prestigious and had around 3-5k students in each.

300 hours into the game and I just learned that you can have a max number of academic works on a single campus. It looks like my Liberal Arts campus maxed out at 48 academic works before displaying the message "Everything has already been researched". Not super important, but something to note
