How to unlock the Coaster Tycoon achievement in Cities: Skylines - Definitive Guide
Coaster Tycoon, Naturally and Z00 all have the same guides and ways to achieve these more efficiently.
This achievement (as with the others) is a simple, but time-consuming one to get. The simple part is building a park and maintaining it. The hard part is getting people to visit it! However, there are some things you can do to help boost the numbers:
- Make sure that you have very good road connections to and from these, since they will attract and generate a lot of traffic. They will also produce noise pollution, so go careful as to how close to residential areas you decide to place these.
- Make sure that you have some good transport stops nearby (trams, buses, metro etc).
- Build the park close to your city hub and not in some random corner.
- Use the park policies to boost visitor numbers and increase the happiness effect rise can bring to your city
At the end of the day, you simply need to keep adding to your park as you unlock more items (which will increase your attractiveness and overall level) and keep the ticket prices in line with the outgoing expenses.
I would recommend activating the park policies for one park at a time if you trying to get all of these to 5 stars in the same map, since these can be very expensive and can conflict with other parks/tourist attractions.
