How to unlock the Foggy Weather achievement in Cities: Skylines - Definitive Guide

You need to enable dynamic weather to get this achievement. Go to Options, then Gameplay, then make sure dynamic weather is ON. Now continue to play as normal and the first time it’s foggy in your city, this will pop. As far as I’m aware the weather is totally random and it took about 2 hours for me to get both this and the equivalent rain achievement.

Once I’d enabled dynamic weather it took about 2 hours of real time actively playing (allowing time to pass in-game in my city) for me to get both fog and rain and therefore unlock both achievements. The weather cycles are completely random so some people may get this in a matter of minutes but some people may be waiting longer than I did.
