How to unlock the THE SIGNALCHASER achievement in Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector - Definitive Guide

Mutually exclusive to keeping Yu-Jin around:
The Secret Achievement achievement in Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector worth 104 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
For either one, you'll need to have picked up Yu-Jin in the Far Spindle by buying 4 drinks at the bar and taking on his contract.
Later, when you arrive at The Hollow, Yu-Jin will direct your toward the markets where you'll meet Luis and the Singers. Following this encounter, you'll get Yu-Jin's next contract to find the fraction drive.
Once you reach the third stage of the contract, there will be a standoff where you can either back Yu-Jin up or abandon him. For this achievement, choose to abandon Yu-Jin. You'll then have a chance to recruit Luis to your crew during the dialog that follows.

You will also get the option to recruit Luis if you attempt to support Yu-Jin in the final scene of the contract, but fail the skill check, so better try to go for the other achievement first, since that is the one that can go wrong by RNG.
