Citizen Sleeper

First, acquire 3 shipmind fragments. There are two places to get shipmind fragments:

• Buy for 60 cryo apiece from the merchant freighter that appears at Dock C-4 every 8 cycles. The merchant freighter stays for 3 cycles each time it appears. It will only sell you 2 pieces at most per appearance. Successfully haggling reduces the price to 40 cryo apiece (you need at least +1 Engage to attempt haggling). (When I played, there was a bug where I haggled to get the first two pieces, but each time the merchant freighter landed after that, it was always sold out and I couldn't buy the third piece. Notes for Patch 1.0.12 say that this issue was fixed.)

• Steal a shipment from Midline Freight Hub. One possible outcome from successfully stealing is getting 2 shipmind fragments. You can steal 3 times at most. If you don't get fragments, you can reload your attempt if you quit to the menu BEFORE leaving the location.

Second, gain access to the Ort Fabricator by gaining enough trading repuation at the Ort Exchange. (The Ort Exchange is accessible after completing all exploration at the Bright Market compass icon.)

Once you have completed both these steps, go to the Ort Fabricator, input your 3 shipment fragments, and collect your complete shipmind.

Near your starting sleeping quarters, there is a bar (the type you drink at). Attached on both sides of the bar are two docking areas for two supply ships that arrive at alternating times. You can purchase scrap/work for one ship, and purchase shipmind fragments from other. It takes 3 fragments for a full shipmind.

Once you have all 3 pieces, go to the Ort Fabricator and combine your fragments into one Shipmind and your achievement

Note: The markets in the game all become discounted as you progress, and one mission does force you to come up with a shipmind so you will likely get it then
