There are a total of 218 Magic circles. The starting one, 200 from classes, 3 from the shady owl, 12 from Ran-geons and 2 from special clears.
Each class / job has 20 Magic circles to learn, as you level each class to Lv 99 you will unlock these. So work on them as you go for Master-of-all-Trades (getting each job to Lv 99). There are 10 different Classes / jobs :- Samurai, Magician, Saint, Vile Priest, Swordsman, Merchant, Onmyoji, Ninja, Tactician, Shaman. This will account for the majority of the Magic circles you need to learn (200).
Three can be bought from the shady owl in the shrine (bottom left of the town) :-

The final ones you will get from the Ran-geons and two special requirements.
Neo-geon :-
Neo-geon King - Clear all 99 floors of a Neo-geon (Unlocks Neo-geon Navigator trophy).
Well-trained army - Clear all 99 floors of a Neo-geon with the enemies at Level 200 minimum on the final floor.
Ultimate Conquest - Clear all 99 floors of a Neo-geon with the enemies at Level 500 minimum on the final floor.
Anything's Possible - Clear all 99 floors of a Neo-geon with the enemies at Level 1000 minimum on the final floor.
Tri-geon
Tri-geon King - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon in the normal or transition area.
Chaos King - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon in the chaos area.
King of Paradise - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon in the heaven area.
Surpassing Limits - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon with the enemies at Level 300 minimum on the final floor.
Above And Beyond - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon with the enemies at Level 500 minimum on the final floor.
Complete Body - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon with the enemies at Level 600 minimum on the final floor.
Proof of Ultimate - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon with the enemies at Level 1000 minimum on the final floor.
Surpassing God - Clear all 99 floors of a Tri-geon with the enemies at Level 1500 minimum on the final floor.
Special requirements
Proof of M - clear all 99 floors of a ran-geon with immortal invitation effect on (bought from the shrine).
Lucky 7 - clear all 99 floors of a ran-geon with Lucky 7 effect on. (bought from the shrine).
