Hello everybody,

As requested in the comments I will try to go further in details on what to expect for the grind of this achievement, And how you could progress in order to achieve it (without spending money and a lot of your time), but please note that this will be a suggestion based on my game style on this kind of clicker games, You can go trough as you prefer. (using offline methods, etc),

-- First: The Heroes --

All* the heroes below are named according to the English language of the game, however they are listed in the same order:

(These are the original prices for hiring without any boost in-game, for level up, you can calculate the last price x 1.07 approx. each time)

Once you had enough Gold to purchase one hero the next one will be "revealed" in your list.

For your information of how to read the scientific annotation:
A few examples:

-- Second: Warnings about ascending --
You might want to consider to wait of making your ascension if you are close to get any of these achievements:

The Farmer Boy achievement in Clicker Heroes worth 237 pointsLevel up heroes 25000 times

The Epic Hero achievement in Clicker Heroes worth 286 pointsDefeat all centennial bosses

They will ultimately reset your progress when you do a hard ascending (the fast ascending is when you use your 50 rubies to avoid reseting your current progress).

If you find yourself still far away from that point you can chose to do a hard ascension if you don't have enough rubies (that you could have if you harvest in the game for a few hours).

-- Third: The way to clear the first 150 levels --

This part will be used as a small walktrough for the people doing the first run, in general it can be used to harvest hero souls, but we will discuss that later.

If you spend more than a week to reach this point, your are not progressing your heroes as fast as you can (note, that you need to wait hours to make money anyways, so make sure you are using the hours you sleep in your advantage, [remember to close the game! and not just in standby]).

In this point the Dread Knight will still be out of our way for at least 2 o 3 months of collecting gold, so it's time for ascension setup.

First, level up all your heroes to lvl 200., from that use the x25 lvl up, from that onwards your heroes get a 4x DPS each time they hit a 25-multiple of levels, so expend your money until they are too expensive to keep going (your goal is to reach lvl. 150-170 and around 1600 accumulated level increases before your first hard ascension).

If you read the second part from this guide you might be aware if is your first run, that you are to far away of achieving them, but if you are more advanced in progress, you might want to wait a bit longer before resetting, but that's your call.

-- Fourth: The Perks of ascending --

If you have meet this part in your first run with at least 1600 levels, you should be around +8... +15 after ascending. Take note that this is really important, if you don't have a good number of heroes souls to ascend, is a waste of time. In my opinion.

By this time you might have collected at least 50 rubies, if you haven't used them.
Please note there are some options in the in-game store:

1- 3 random mutated heroes, 30 rubies
2- +# Heroes Souls + 1 Fast ascension, 50 rubies
3- 3 relics, 40 rubies
4- +$$$$ Gold + skill refresh, 20 rubies
5- Double DPS forever, 50 rubies

4 is garbage and you should not expend money or rubies doing that, at least for now.

1 and 3 are mostly not required cause you will eventually getting as you level up in game.

5 and 2 is our target, as you progress in game the number of heroes souls you can claim will be growing, I can't tell exactly what makes it grow, but it does.

If you have the rubies, purchase it and ascend.

New options will be revealed, the bonus +10% DPS per soul will be applied to your total amount, and the ancestors will show up in your menu (probably relics as well).

The ancestor #1 we need is Dogcog, if is not in the options available, refresh (using some souls). the reason of that, is we we want it to be cheap, 1 hero soul for lvl. 1, is going to be cheaper to level him up, instead if we purchase him with a base price higher.

After that we need to rinse and repeat the progress to collect souls, collect rubies, purchase fast ascension, expend the souls on leveling Dogcog.

Use your hard ascension when you are not able to do fast ascension in a short time frame or if you are not able to go forward on the levels. repeating this process at least 4-5 times with hard ascensions should bring you to level 200-250 and some weeks closer to Dread Knight.

Further steps or suggestions on other ancestors will be added as they are provided.

The Ancient is called Dogcog, Ancient of Thrift. His maximum level is 25 and he gives -2% discount to hero hiring and level-up cost per level.

@I AM CULLY , have you spent any money on gems to make your progress quicker or just grinding it out? I imagine it only gets faster as the game goes on and you start getting the huge multipliers but dang it's slow right now.

@stlcfgh 1, use the offline boosting method. It helps a ton on progressing.
If you're not doing the offline boosting method i think this game will take multiple years, lolz.

Would you please include in this guide when you will be able to afford to purchase all 35 Heroes? Meaning at which Ascension will you be able to get it.
And also could you be clear whether or not you can get all 35 before the first Ascension if it's worth it. The one guy that posted said he was level 2300. I'm not sure what that means as I have not yet ascended for the first time.

I am stuck at getting dread knight since its so extremely expensive. Can anyone give me a tip how to get it faster or to get on in the game faster in general? I have 56 souls at the moment and dont know if I should spend them since the loss of 10% bonus isnt that little.

You have 56 souls pending or already available to use?
If you can use them, invest on Dogcog, it will help in getting cheaper heroes (each level is a - 2% in the cost).

Later today i'll write down a starter guide.

You will need to ascend in order to get closer to the target faster than not doing it. Is a longer grind basically if you dont ascend.

Level 2300 refers to the floor 2300 of 3600 (you start at lvl 1)

Is not like you lost them, each hero souls gives you a +10% from your base DPS.
You can for example, invest on Siyalatas.

It gives you an increase on DPS while IDLE.
For example if you use 6 hero souls, you will lose -60% of permanent DPS, but you will gain +75% of DPS while idle.

So, chose your cards, and select the gameplay that fits better for you.

@TONI III04: Don't worry about losing some souls. You will need to spend more than million souls if you want to have any chance to complete this game. Basically, it's absolutely necessary to have ancients at very very high levels. For example, getting Juggernaut from level 350 to level 360 alone takes like 70,000 souls. My Juggernaut was at level 400 and that was still not really enough and I was barely killing enemies from level 3500 to 3600.

with 50 Gems.. I would definitely only use gems on Quick Ascensions. The extra souls are what you want. Double DPS is probably decent for your first purchase, but I wouldn't buy the gilds or cooldown stuff on xbox. Purchased Gilds will be more useful after transcending comes to xbox.

Double DPS from the rubies is not garbage, it has the same value as Dogcog but you are expending rubies to get it. If you must get it, get it on your first run. Also, never get Dogcog first, you actually want to be getting Siyalatas/Libertas for idle builds and if you're a lunatic (you like to mash the

button) you should get Fragsworth or Juggernaught.

Well it certainly depends on the gane style of each person, but 10 hero souls are equal to the double DPS, so yeah, it helps but not a mjst have option

It's double DPS that is applied after all other multipliers. 10 HS is additive and therefore less valuable.

Agree with you, the initial pick of Ancient is a key factor which make you progress much faster to late game. During first few ascension, your HS mainly come from level up heroes (2000 for 1 HS), and after few days spending on HS based on active build, I'm now grabbing 3-4K HS per 60 mins run with around HZE 600.

Argaiv or Dogcog should be my next ancient which cost 1700HS (need to re-roll)

My current status with active build

HZE: ~1380, bank 50K HS with Samurai over 3000 level. I have all but 3 ancients left (2 idle ancient and 1 metal detector ancient, with remaining ancient which has max level maxed already)

Good guide, but this is not true:

Incremental level cost is not based on initial cost. The second level for Dogcog will always be 4, the third will always be 8, regardless of whether the first level cost you 1 soul (first ancient) or 50,000 (last ancient).

I give you thumbs up. This game is complex and therefore has to be hard to write a guide or even a solution. There are many different ways to play it. If you learn anything about the game reading this solution and comments then it is a win in my book. If it is the best solution or only one out there then the people bitching should write a better one.

Using a calculator do help to optimize the HS, currently i'm using below calculator

Just input the value at left side then click the "Play" button to find how you should allocate the HS and how much improvement.

And ascend whenever you found it take too much time to advance a zone.

As now my each ascension take around 1 - 1.5 hours and reward me around 2e5 - 2.5e5 HS and i'll left my controller on overnight before i sleep to maximum the advance a bit more.

I got a little worried when I finally bought Astraea and the achievement didn't pop but then I remembered that I had skipped hiring Dread Knight and Terra on that run - it popped when I hired those two such that I had all of them hired at once.

I finally unlocked today, i reach zone 2270 with more than 5e159 to bought it. Ascend around 146 times. Using hybrid build and push my zone further after 1650 when idle build no longer instakill (without turn off my xbox for around 18 hours!!)

The developer stated (according to a post here on TA in the forums for this game) that hiring all heroes does in fact require all the new heroes and is now significantly harder.

I've got my 2nd xbox offline and not downloading the update, I think I'll grind it out there first.

Yes i read that comment however even you have the original version, once you go online to unlock achievement, you are forced to update the game which may still need to unlock all heroes (10 additional heroes)

This achievement is next to impossible on console now. The developers need to change it back to the original requirements. This will now take years and is harder on console than pc and mobile because this game can only really be played actively on console, you cant play it for five minutes every now and then

OK, I did the update on the guide about the additional heroes required, and a few modifications that I was missing from the comments.

As we know, the legit way to get this achievement is nearly in the impossible ground at this moment, hopefully the developers will save our souls. or at least decrease the price to a reasonable price, or increase the gold loot.

I can confirm. I just unlocked the last hero there was before the update and did NOT get the achievement. I only had the last guy to unlock and was so close. I couldn't seem to pass about level 2100. This update is a major set back as I had a lot of ancients jacked up big time and this update just turned them way down. It now costs insane amounts of souls to get them even back up a tiny bit.

I have 5 autoclickers and after the first ascension, i focus on idle ancient and after 3-4 transcendence i break through zone 3600 (for mobile version but it's now the same as console).

Conflicting info above about whether this did change or will change to only require Wep - if it did/does, Wep is pretty easy with transcendence.

I had already unlocked this before the patch but I still need to get to lvl 3600. My 1st transcend got me 36 AS and I got +10 for my 2nd. I might go for lvl 3600 on this one (I'm at 3300 now) but will probably just transcend again (with +7) and get it easily on the next one.

I can't say how hard it would be to get to Madzi since I'm still 5 heroes away which is really more like 8 since after Wep you jump back to earlier heroes before continuing with Tsuchi. It does look like it would be a painful grind on Xbox if you can't run it all day while you're at work or something like that so hopefully they'll change it if they haven't already.

I hired Astraea and thought that the achievement was glitched when it didn't unlock. I then realised that on my current ascension I hadn't hired all heroes having skipped some weak ones along the way, I went back and hired them all and the achievement popped right away. Hope this helps anyone that is thinking they are glitched.

I have hired every hero, Cid through Astrea, and the achievement has not unlocked. I have put additional levels on all the heroes, hard reset my console, and recovered my gamertag. Still can't get the achievement to unlock.

Also, the description of the achievement on Xbox Live says "unlock all original heroes" which sounds like you don't even have to purchase them. But still, after purchasing all of them I can't get the achievement to unlock.

Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it?

There is honestly so much misinformation within this guide that it's likely doing more harm than help.

You should not be trying to go for those three achievements (Dora, 25K heroes centennial bosses) before your first ascension. That's an absolute waste of time... You'll get them after you've ascended about 60 times. The whole point of this game is to ascend many times, each time getting more and more efficient at collecting souls. If you get to a point where it takes you another 3 of farming hours to climb 10 levels then you need to hit that ascend button.

If you don't ascend rapidly it will take you a month to get to level 1000 and then the next time it will take you like a week (because you only gain like 4K hero souls). If you keep ascending rapidly you'll get to the point where you can breeze through level 1000 in ~25 minutes. And it only takes that long because you're limited by the length of the enemy death animation...

Dogcog as your first ancient is an absolute mistake. You want siyalatas, libertas, solomon or atman. Once you can reach level 200 Argaiv is also necessary. If your first few ancients aren't the majority of those you need to respec because it's simply going to take you longer to progress if you don't.

This game is all about exponential growth. Trust me, don't pick a suboptimal ancient because it has a 4 soul re-roll cost to try for a new set. Soon you'll be making thousands of souls and that 4 you threw away wont even matter.

You'll have far more souls after a few runs if you re-roll to get the High Tier ancient which allows you to push higher levels faster than it is to not throw away souls, pick a suboptimal ancient and then be stuck with an even higher cost to buy another ancient.

Just for reference how long / far you need to unlock this achievement.

I have 136 ascension now and using hybrid build with HZE 2205 (left my controller whole night for active build) and the maximum gold gained is around 1.5e154.

I put all my gilded heroes to Phthalo with instakill around lv 1250 and in average i gain 2e5 - 3e5 per ascension (depend if reach HZE or not)

I move 40 zone further prior to my previous ascension (HZE before is 2159 with max gold gained 7.8e151) and based on this information hopefully i should get the achievement around 10 more ascension (to have 5e159 for Astraea with maximum of hero cost reduction ancient).

Will update once when I get the achievement to have the HZE for other reference.

if you have 4 autoclicker i'll suggest go for hybrid build. First go idle and put autoclicker on hero upgrade and buy all upgrade (move along the way down until your gilded heroes) then you can leave it until no more instakill then put all AC on the monster to gain for last batch of HS earned.

The guide by reforc3 is a much more detailed guide including strategy tips, but I thought I would make a concise guide with just the basics for those that want it.

There was an update since the game's launch that added more heroes- these are not required for the achievement, only the original 35. You must have at least 1 of each hero in the same ascension (I often skip the lower level heroes and was wondering why it didn't pop when I bought Astrea then I bought one of each of the lower ones and it popped). Mine unlocked around level 2100, but I had the ancient, Dogcog pretty high level so my guess is you should be able to get it by 2300 by the latest.

Thank you. This achievement is best served with the list of heroes needed and a few tips, people should look at Zone Conqueror or the walkthrough for details on making progress. The game changes too frequently to have a detailed progress guide in too many places. I appreciate the effort that went into the other solution for this achievement, but seriously people trying to reach Astraea should be wary of strategy from someone who is “working on Shinatobe”.
