Worked for me as well, I got all three melee achievements this way. For me I aimed between both of his feet so Church's horizontal swing would slice both sets of his little toesies! (and used Blu-Tack to keep the LT down, why can you never find a rubberband when you need one?)

Oh and another great level is called the low road just after you open the gate when you are alone playing as Delgado you will be in a room with all your team members, on the floor is a like a square pool of blood , in that pool an endless amount of enemies spawn one after another and they are the most basic of enemies then you will get teh exploding kind coming through the door in the room now and again but yeah you can just keep doing what i said in above post and this way you are getting a kill every couple seconds

in the position i was in, not every melee swing was hitting the body. after i got the 50 achievement, it took about 9 minutes to get the 100 one, then after than, about 27 mins to get the 250 one.

definitely the best method, glad I new about this in advance and didn't worry about getting melée kills along the way

Aim for the foot (for me it was the right foot, on your left). Once you have the circle on the foot (it will turn red), just keep swinging (LT). You don't even need to move the sticks.

awesome, worked first time, took approx 20 minutes for all 250, didnt have a rubber band but a old computer cable wrapped around LT worked great

I was trying this and it seemed to not be working. The key is to hit the FOOT. His right foot, which is on ur left. That's how I got it.

Each individual hit does not count as a kill. It counts every time his corpse spasms, which I believe is 3-4 hits. This is how I got it and it most certainly works.

Yes this works, doesn't take too long neither, I built up about 90 kills before reaching this point as I was also concentrating on Ghost, Headshots and Incinerations. The trick is to hit the foot and just rubber band it.

a good way of getting this by just playing through the campaign is using church and keep using her blood magic hitting the RB button and then melee because that magic takes a hold of the enemies and the cant attack you while its active , just make sure you dont try it with the enemies that explode and this will help boost your kills with out having to do this if you stick to using her mostly
