Most of the initial fighting here is done in narrow corridors with the pain being the explosive dudes. I found best t o use the dude with the mini gun and continue to back away and plug em.
When you come to the open section with stairs use sniper bird as ghost bullet is really good for multiple long range ghost bullet kills.
With the skeleton warriors, back off and use her grenade bullets.
At the end you have to switch to knife bird and work your way through the tunnel - she really is hopeless so use her slowmo time (RB) and knife em. When you end up in the room a tip I found was go up the stairs and stand on the bit in the middle either side of the stairs. The skeletons couldn't really get me there so you can slash away and not get hit. Good luck!

Took a few goes with the last part after you throw down the fire. The little bastards fire a spear at you and knock your health down quick. You were right with the best place to stand, but you just need to get it right to succeed. +1
