Clone Drone in the Danger Zone

Got this for killing two enemies (not three) with a single strike. Moving sideways gives you a horizontal attack that can hit more enemies. You will probably get this by accident as you play normally, since the enemies tend to clump up as they chase you.

If you're having difficulty, try buying the hammer. It's slower, but sweeps a larger area.
