Clone Drone in the Danger Zone

I am on a quest to get every "Sword Master" Achievement. Here's how to get this one:

In most game modes, you will be equipped with a sword by default. The only upgrade I ever bothered with was the 'Block Projectiles' upgrade to get a little bit of defense, then I just spammed clones (extra lives).

Attacking enemies head-on is a bad idea. They will usually block the attack, and you leave yourself open to a counter-attack. The best strategy is to circle strafe every enemy and slash at their legs or arms.

The direction of your attack depends on your movement. If you are moving forward or backward, you perform an over-head strike that is good for targeting the head, or really tall enemies, like the Spider-Tron. If you are moving sideways, you perform a sideways slash that is good for targeting limbs.



All damage seems to be physics based, so wherever you hit the enemy is where they will take damage.

This Achievement took a bit more skill and persistence than I expected, but still not very difficult.

Kills in every game mode count. You can see your tracked kills at any time at the bottom of the first page of the 'Achievements' tab on the main and pause menus.

For this achievement, kill any 500 enemies while equipped with a sword in any of the modes.
