Glad it helped. I hate 7-5 because of exactly what you mentioned, the trucks would get stuck in the tunnel. Eventually one didn't get stuck and I was able to make it to the trucks at the end. I think you're at the game's mercy there.

Is it killing you because you're not jumping? In other videos, I saw that when PC players did a similar skip, they kept jumping until the rumbling noise stopped. I think they jump because the boss is trying to reset after you hit the button. I just thought I would copy what they did and it seemed to work just fine for me.

Seems like the fire can still get you if you try to go forward when you fall from the button. I just listen for the fire to stop 'fwooshing'. I hope that helps a bit.

Had to complete this 3x due to not having abilities bought, game crashed 2x until i did that... u have been warned

Finally got this one after days of furious anger. The guide helped out tremendously but still by no means an easy feat, still think one of the hardest achievements I've obtained and that's counting some Trials Fusion stuff. The most angering was the iffy physics and warping through the shortcut truck.

So, I purchased abilities on the last level and I pressed the use key once because that damn phrase on the screen is annoying as hell and died after. This won't screw the achievement when I complete the level later right? Because that would be really stupid.

Nah, you're fine. I personally had a passive ability equipped the first time I beat the final level, so I didn't get the achievement. Just beat it again without using an ability and you'll get it.

7-5 is broken. It's impossible to do it because the trucks keep getting stuck. I've played this over 100 times now and no luck with any of the trucks passing through. Shit game.

Anyone know what happens if i buy an ability and use it for purpose ? Am i conpletely screwed or do i just need to complete the last level again ? Cause i am at the last level but yea like i said what happens if i buy it and use it for puprpose :/

I answered that question up above. If you used an ability in a level, you just have to redo the level without using the ability. It doesn't completely screw you over.

Is there a way to tell which levels you have done with no abilities? I take it you are allowed to use sprint?

As far as I remember, I don't think there was. By sprint, do you mean the button that lets you jump further? If so, yea.

After completing every level without abilities my tracker was at 98%. I didn't do them in order. In fact I had done the last level first (at least that was the first I intentionally did without abilities). I did the last level again and it popped when I failed the level about to land on the button the 2nd time. Strange, but just though I would mention it.

Level 7-5 is just dumb luck. Had no problems up until this point

Anyone got any tips for staying on the truck before the third button? I've tried roughly 5 times now, but keep falling through it :/ (also Should I hold or spam jump)

6-2 is killing me, there is one truck on the third transistion which keeps crashing into a rock and glitching our meaning you can jump onto it but then you get chucked right off instantly. Any help?

Heads up to anyone, the method shown in the video still works as of 30th April 2018.

I seen a video where if you press the gotten part of the button, you wouldn't have to press it again and it'll just end but I think it was on pc. Can someone try and confirm of that's also possible on xbox and if so make a video to show us.

Okay, so I just did this and the shortcut, as of writing this, still works. However I didn't land on the same truck as the video does and I didn't jump. Almost everytime I tried jumping on it my character got killed.

Can confirm still working as of 01/07/2018. I was constantly jumping at the backend of the truck.

Hey used this guide to help me. Thank you so much for the guide this achievement was a nightmare to me.

One tip is to take regular breaks. If you are stuck on a single level for more than an hour, stop and come back to it the next day. It really helps. I was stuck on 9-7 for 2 hours, when I left it for the next day, I did it in 5 minutes.

9-10 blows. I had no problem with any other levels really except for 7-5. I can barely even make it to the top in 9-10. This is gonna suck.

as of Jul 21, 2019 this both works and the game still crashes on level completion with no abilities (fml)

Finished the level after performing the glitch in the video and it crashed. However, after retrying it with an ability and not using it, the achievement popped.
This confirms that the glitch still works.
PS: This level is filled with a buttload of crap. Felt like the cars were moving away from me while jumping and you've got to reach the button quickly or else the lava will kill you.

I found the last level a lot easier when you're at the part where you're bouncing on the trucks waiting for the flamethrower to jump to the one in front as I jumping on the current one it kept moving my character left and right and killing me. I also acciendntly pressed my grapple and used it and instantly reset and still got the achievement to unlock.

It did help.

is this a cumulative achievement or do you have to beat the game in one go?

You have to beat each level without the extra abilities. But you can do it in any order over multiple sessions.

Guys after you get back up the second time you don't need to go back down jump on the button then land back on the same spot even though the cover is up you will glitch through! Trust me so much easier.

6/8/2020 still works and EmG is right. i just fell back through after the second time. You'll "fail" but just let it play out and youll get the achievement.

How the hell you move the right stick at the same time? I can't. My thumb have to move fast and can't do it.

Read my comment up above, I recommended remapping the jump button so you can always keep a hold on the right stick.

@EmG v SprayZz i tried this 3 times and get the "fail" without passing the level or unlocking anything i don't know maybe i am doing it wrong or it doesn't work every time.

I really wish I had read this first. After 1.5 hours I finally beat the last level.... and the game crashes.

I made clips of my 7-5 successful completion and my 9-10 successful completion. I don't want to make a new solution for these, so I'll just leave them here and maybe somebody will see them. I'll also leave some tips for both below.

A couple of tips:
-The front section with the missiles is so random. There would be 5-10 times in a row where I would get hit by missiles, the trucks would randomly turn off the road, etc. If you get stuck with these, just power through.
-Once you get past the missile section, you want to make your way to the front truck as soon as possible. The goal is to land on the front truck, move down onto the cab of the truck, and then jump off at the last second. I found standing on the cab gave you just a little bit extra on the jump to be able to get the distance you need.
-If the front truck gets wrecked, or another truck makes it down sooner, you can try to jump off other trucks but I was never able to complete the level doing this.
-I held RT and jumped at the very last second, before the truck hits the invisible barrier. If you don't jump, you'll die and won't get to make the jump at all.
-As you're falling, stay as far forward as you can but avoid hitting the top of the hole down to the final area. If you watch closely, I pulled back on the left stick for a split second to avoid hitting the top. Once you make it past that, immediately hold forward again.
-Be prepared to tap A a bunch if you make it to the bottom truck. You'll likely hit the back or side and have to jump your way up.
-The trucks at the bottom don't seem to move, but they will eventually start moving slowly. Keep this in mind as you're making your way to the finish. I messed up a run by not expecting the trucks to move and missing a jump. Take your time!

A couple of notes:
-Equip an ability, even if you're going for the "Beat the Game Without Abilities" achievement. Apparently the game will crash if you don't (I didn't verify this myself, the level was difficult enough as is, I didn't want to find out the hard way). Just make sure you don't use the ability. I used the Grappling Hook and Time Slow, as per AbsolutioN IX's suggestion on TrueAchievements.
-On the moving truck portion, get to the end (the trucks in front) as fast as you can, but don't jump to the first truck. Stay back 2 or 3 trucks, as this will allow the boss to settle and the jump will be a little easier.
-Take your time on the jumps up to the button. You don't have a ton of time, but you have enough to be careful. I did worse on the times I was trying to race up that portion.
-You should have to repeat the part after you hit the button twice, but for some reason mine unlocked after the second button press. If yours doesn't unlock after the second button press, you'll have to fall back down and repeat the jumps back up and hit the button a third and final time.
-I did have one time where I phased through the truck after bouncing off the button. I'm not sure why it happened, but after that I held RT and A before/during my landing on the truck after the big fall.
-This is not an easy level. Master the first part and then start working on the ascent. Take things slow and you should be able to get this without too much trouble. This level took me about 45 minutes to complete.

Game crash every f******g time

You have to equip (non-passive) abilities to avoid the game crash.

Also there's a glitch that lets you skip the 3rd button press. After pressing the button a 2nd time and you're thrown in the air, rather than land down to the truck, just land on the (now closed) button.

You'll die and get a game over screen but your body should glitch through to the button and press it a 3rd time, completing the level and popping the achievement. Look down at FLD Marshal Z0D's solution for a clip of exactly what to do!

For Level 6-2, i load up a clip on my Xbox profile, showing i think an easy run for that level

^You have to beat the whole game without extra abilities. Your achievement tracker should tick up after each level.

6-2 is very frustrating, and its even further annoying that there is no footage of anybody doing with no abilities ON Xbox anywhere

28/08/21 the game still crashes at the end if you don't have abilities equipped. The skip still works but after you hit the button the 2nd time, you can just land straight back on top of where the button is and you'll die but still kill the boss

@Bunny I feel ya man this one took me a long ass time. The secret is to jump as DEEP as you can to beat the 2nd to the last truck groups. Here's my clip hope it helps. I have some stuff equipped cuz i've been trying to do the last boss but i don't use any abilities.

Might just have been my goofy ass but for anyone else who may be wondering: Sprint does NOT fall under abilities (in fact, alot of later missions are impossible without sprint).

Ok, just did it. As of 2/5/22, the video strat above still works, as well as the second bounce glitch. Use the video strat above to get back up the second time, the lava will glitch and not rise, so take your time on the second climb. Once you're launched off the button for the second time, land right back on top of it. You will die, but give it a second and your body will sink into the button and hit it, completing the level. Just wait for the credits to start.

It's a huge pain, but trying over and over will eventually get you there.

thank you so.. so much. equipping any of the abilities so the game wont crash, skipping the second and third part, jumping when the boss is trying to reset, and dying on top of the button. That many things i would never figure out by myself..

This achievement still works as of now. You’ve all been warned about having an ability equipped or your game will crash. Have equipped but do not use.

The last level sucks but I can confirm that following the method in the video still works as of Nov 2022. One thing to note though I had to do this method a second time to get the achievements to pop, if they don't pop as the screen fades to white you'll have to do the last level again (I closed the game on my console and started it again for the second go round)

Good evening, I'm playing the game on a different profile than mine and when I press the button for the third time the game suddenly freezes, impossible to finish the game! A solution ?

Please read the solution. The game freezes if you don't have an ability equipped. As long you don't use it, you'll get the achievement, even if it is equipped.

Awesome guide! The comment Wyyvern made was also super helpful, swapping the A button with RB made this a lot easier, got it on my 5th try after changing to controls

I should have heeded your warning. I didn't want to risk accidentally activating an ability and my game froze right at the end. I then purchased every ability and equipped only the grappling hook and the solution worked.

Buy an ability but don't use it. I crashed as well until I remembered reading about it. Worked flawlessly after I bought an ability.
Like in the video I bought Grappling Hook, which kinda helps out because it shows you the center of the screen with it's reticle, making aiming for the truck easier imo.
Also try staying on the right side of the truck (close to the right edge of the top of the truck). I glitched way less when staying there unlike the middle of the truck. Might just be a coincidence.

Great tip, was finally able to do this after 5 hours!

And same with Markyshizzle my game crashed twice before because I didn't buy any abilities beforehand. You have to go into 9-10 with abilities active for some reason or else the game crashes when you press the button a 3rd time to beat the boss.

Sometimes when you try to land on a truck when doing the skip it can be very glitchy, as you can go through the truck or get pushed off. During your runs to the 2nd and 3rd button, you can take your time going through the obstacles as the lava is much lower towards the button than it was the 1st time.

Definitely much easier using the skip though, was pumped when I finally did it +1

Last level wasn't giving me the opening seen in the video, so I had to do it the normal way. Took a while, but it wasn't bad.

At this point I haven't played the game in over 3 months and I've long since moved on to other things.

I'm happy to answer questions but I don't feel obligated to have the game installed 24/7 so I can fact-check my guides.

Can only imagine the hell that final level would be if the skip didn't exist, welp.

Anyways, I have an extra thing to add that I'm surprised hasn't been brought up yet. If you go to Xbox Settings -> Ease of Access -> Controller -> Button mapping, you're able to change the jump button to something that doesn't require you to take your thumb off the right stick. You can't use the left trigger unfortunately, so instead I mapped the A button to LB. Would be great if you could remap the controls in-game, but that assumes that the devs are competent.

Also when you're jumping on that single truck, I would count ten jumps holding down the jump button before continuing on, that way I didn't have to hear the awful game audio while playing and could listen to some music instead.

My word that last level is brutal. After my first button press, I hopped on that truck that everyone else mentioned until I heard the monster stop breathing fire. Then I started ascending, and I think this caused the lava to glitch and not rise, so I took my time. When I hit the button the second time, I went straight in the air and landed back on the casing like some others have mentioned, I died, but my body went through the casing and hit the button the third time, which rolled the credits. This is definitely one of the most difficult achievements I've got. So very frustrating.

What a frustrating game. 0 enjoyment on my end. Last level killed it for me. No respect to this pos game. Controls are slippery, movement sensitivity is like 1000%, and the momentum mechanic just pushes you into death barriers during the boss. Don't know if it was just me, but I felt like I was playing something in fast forward mode.
Even with the level skip its torture. You have to be percise like a professional speedrunner for 2 mins straight. Only good thing I can say about this game is its flying off my hard drive as soon as it's done.

Edit: Took me 20 mins the following day. Guess the OP strat is taking a break.

Just got the achievement with the help of this one and one of the other guides by NessNoldo where you can hit the boss two times when you get to it the second time by hitting the button then land where the button is while it's closed and die. It worked perfectly and made it slight more easier.

It was challenging, didnt take too long and was quite fun and frustrating at parts all though some of the maps it's pure luck, just keep going and watch videos as reference if you don't know what to do and you'll do it.

Seen a lot of comments about this not working. I made the first button press, hit the truck instructed by the video. Climbed back up, hit the second button, then landed right in the middle of the closed button. I died, but when the button opened back up, I hit it with my dead body for the win. It did say level failed until I made the third press.

I will say one thing. That truck you land on in the video, be warned, it's very glitchy to actually stand on. Even if you keep jumping, I would phase through it, or just straight up get the failed level screen.

So you're telling me that as long as you press the button once, if your dead body is still on it, you'll win ?!

Yeah if you watch the clip you see how it works , if you press the button and die at the same time , or atleast your body lays on the button it will press it again or twice.

Tried multiple times, tried jumping on multiple different spots, none would work. I don't understand in your clip the moment when your dead body flew in the air, hitting the robot a third time. How did it jump ?
Also, is there an exact place to land I miss in the video ? I'm farming this damn level for 3 days straight now

I almost always die without hitting the button or hit the button without dying. I'm wondering if your death involved the lava. I've tried to time it like your video where the lava just covers the button as you hit it. This achievement has my vote for most hated/attempted/shitty I've ever tried.

You have to get really lucky for a 1 hit kill, but 2nd hit kill is pretty much guaranteed.

This is by far the best guide worked for me second time it would of worked first time, but I was impatient hit the button and die at the same time you will know you did it when you die and your body goes up as you it would and lands back on the bottom wait a while it definitely work as of feburary 9th 2022

+1, by far the best strategy for last level. I had no chance at landing on the truck per the other skip guides after trying many times over several hours. At last got the spot right, level failed, got thrown up 3 times and finished the game. 1000G in the bag. Thank you for posting this guide :)

Still works to this day, you do need a lot of patience but its worth it.

works, hour of trial an error, getting to the button is gonna be about half your investment then with some luck you land at the button roughly when you need to and "where" on the button, i didn't get a bounce like in the author's clip but if you pay attention to the sound cues you'll know you're on the right path. Thrilling 400G once you get it.OMG it worked moment forsure. I think it's on gamepass for a couple hours longer, not worth rushing this game if your concerned about mental health lol.

Each time my body hits the button for a third time, the game crashes and boots me to the dashboard. Fucking infuriating.

A+ guide right here. It took me the better part of 5 hours of trying this tonight to finally have the achievements pop. I thought I didn't land in the right spot as I wasn't facing the right way when I landed and instead of launching me into the air at the end, my screen faded to black. I ALMOST hit A to try again, but I held off, mostly due to a mix of dropping my controller out of frustration and my battery dying, and then BOOM! MY ACHIEVEMENTS POPPED! Thanks for the video guide! You are a lifesaver!

For me I really had to wait like at least something like 2-4 minutes at the 'YOU FAILED' screen before I was surprised with the credits roll. I had tried numerous times by jumping on the button and then landing on top of the closed button and dying, hoping the body would land on top of the button again. For the winning run, I aimed a little to the left of the button after I bounced off pushing it and waited patiently. The screen turned black after the lava levels reached my body which usually meant I failed but I decided to wait instead. For some reason it worked this time! GOOD RIDDANCE, I thought I was never gonna get this one done! Remind me never to touch a physics based RNG platformer ever again!

Not that I know of. It seems whatever you do to try and stay on the last truck either the fire or lava kills you.

I can confirm that this (or something like it) works. I kind of hit the side of the button and I did die, but my "body" was left resting on the button. When it opened up again, I hit it two more times and the level ended despite being on the failure screen.

I think the trick only can work if you die instantly while hitting the button.

I've hit the button plenty of times and died from the flames, then landed in the spot and the lava continued to come.

I didn't hit and die instantly but i landed on the edge of the button and when the trap door opened it took a few seconds before my body fell and hit it and then flew up. Then came back down and hit it, GG

Thank god for this solution! Ended up trying for this a few times, and if I didn't die I would try to land on the truck below for the shortcut. Ended up getting it almost by accident. I was in a rush to the top as it was a slower run with the lava so I just jumped for it, missed the button just slightly to give me the death but hit the button still. Almost thought it didn't work when I waited and the lava came back up and black screened me, but just as I was about to restart it gave me the screen for beating the game.

I was sitting on the black screen after hitting the edge of the button and dying for a couple of minutes when the achievement popped. This was the second time I hit the button and died, the first I waited on black screen for quite a while before restarting.

search cluster track speedrun, there is a good speedrunner for the steam version, the way for reach the button is the same as the xbox one version

Is this skip still working? I've landed on the button and died at the same time a fair few times now. Left it where the screens gone blank for 10 mins a few times and also had it where I can still see the screen and see the hatch open again for a while.

Ok an update. I got it to work on the second hit. But what happened was I hit the button at the same time as the lava covered the button. So I went up into the air a little then landed back on the button to register the third hit which killed the boss

Still works as of May 25 2020. Another thing to add, once you press the button for the second time, you can fly directly up into the air and land ontop of where the button was for your third press. It will say level failed, however you will fall through the cover and glitch onto the button for the third press and final press to end the game and roll the credits.

Thanks for the tip but nearly every PC speed run uses abilities and those few that don't are from 2016 and 2017 (the path to the weak spot apparently used to be different/easier) but now it's in a tougher location. That's why I'm wondering if the exploits like this one have been patched. In a fit of frustration I even tried the deployable truck trick on the button and it counted as one hit of 3 instead of instakilling the boss. The damn devs can't be bothered to fix all the bugs in their game but they sure as shit got in there to make sure the boss is ridiculously hard to get around.
